  • [영문에세이] Abortion 평가B괜찮아요
How Does Abortion Affect in Terms of Sociological Perspectives? The ethics of abortion is one of the most controversial topic that has been continually argued over years and probably many years to come. The main controversy is the question of legalization of abortion, which ties into ethical issues, emotions, and political issues or laws. Before I discuss the many sides to abortion, it is critical to define the term. The Webster’s Dictionary defines abortion as the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the fetus.Despite the liberal attitudes toward abortion, it still remains an important political issue. Even in societies where abortion has been legalized, many actions are being raised by the anti-abortionists. These anti-abortionists believe in “pro-life” and their religious perspectives are responsible in their arguments against abortion. They believe that “it is equally as heinous intentionally to kill a human being in existence at fertilization, as to kill a larger pre-born child.” On the other hand, there are reasons for legalization of abortion. Most people agree with the concept of reproductive freedom—the fundamental right of every individual to decide freely and responsibly when and whether to have a child.Human life is defined as “any living entity that has DNA from the species homo sapiens. This includes an ovum, spermatozoon, zygote, embryo, fetus, newborn. It also includes an infant, child, adult, elder. It also includes a breast cancer cell and a hair follicle and a skin scraping. Some forms of human life have little or no value; others are the most valuable and precious form of life in the known universe”. Because an unborn fetus is considered to have a human life, abortion should not be legalized. It is a definitely a crime to kill a living and breathing fetus even though the embryo may not take the form of a human structure. If abortion is permitted, the dignity of human will be destroyed. In the medical field, the doctors prescribe the baby before 15 days after conception as dividing cells. But after this short period, abortion is prohibited from the principal of identifying. This is because the fertilization process contains many cell divisions by zygote progressing into a human being. Many people assert the right that women do not have a baby because they have the right to choose. But it is neglecting the right of the baby who has his or her own life. Just because an unborn fetus is not capable to express his or her feelings, is it morally right to end its life? Considering moral issues, abortion is definitely equally termed a murder. However, I do understand the other point of view for legalizing abortion. The exception to abortion is considered when the mother bearing the child has illnesses or diseases that can be transmitted to the baby genetically. Also, financial issues are often being raised by the parents whom are not able to support another family in the house. In this case, abortion may be permitted because it is rather better to not be alive than be living under such poor conditions. Furthermore, abortion is considered as a rightful act when the women get pregnant from rape. Some people may generally think that a crippled person is pessimistic about the world. But in fact, they thank their parents who gave life to them. The life as a handicapped person could be better than not experiencing life at all. If it’s not by the force of other one, people must take the responsibility for their behavior. Every action you make comes in consequences and therefore, it is important to choose birth controls if pregnancy is not wanted. If the reason that causing abortion is merely a problem of foster, it is never permitted. We must keep in mind that life is most precious thing in the world. It is estimated that the number of aborted babies is almost 4000 in a month. Vast majority of abortions are done for convenience, by women who simply want to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. But abortion is a murder. So, now is the time for us to think about the abortion again and to search for the best solution. In any circumstances, the life must be admired.Work Cited HYPERLINK "http://www.prochoice.org/" http://www.prochoice.org/ HYPERLINK "http://www.abortionfacts.com/" http://www.abortionfacts.com/ HYPERLINK "http://www.religioustolerance.org/abortion.htm" http://www.religioustolerance.org/abortion.htm HYPERLINK "http://ethics.acusd.edu/Applied/abortion/" http://ethics.acusd.edu/Applied/abortion/ HYPERLINK "http://www.agi-usa.org/sections/abortion.html" http://www.agi-usa.org/sections/abortion.html HYPERLINK "http://abortion-alternatives.adoption.com/" http://abortion-alternatives.adoption.com/ HYPERLINK "http://www.friesian.com/abortion.htm" http://www.friesian.com/abortion.htmMerriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary: Tenth Edition: Merriam-Webster, Incorporated. • [영문에세이] drinking culture and manner
Drinking manner, cultureThese days, many people who go to foreign countries to study, to business or to travel. When people go to foreign countries, they have many chances to drink alcohol with foreigners, however, most of people don’t know about foreigner’s drinking cultures, manners.I had studied international language school in Boston. When I stayed in Boston, I made party every night with foreign students, so I had spent a lot of time to drink with foreigners. When I drank with foreigners, I made a lot of mistake in front of foreigners, because I didn’t know each country’s drinking cultures, manners. People should know each country’s drinking cultures and manners, because if people don’t know other country’s drinking culture and manners, people can make big mistake or very impoliteness in front of other country’s people. Most of countries have typical occasions for drinking. The American people have also typical occasion for drinking, but it is same as Korean, however, actually American people drink almost everyday. Drinking is American people’s living. I have seen that when the American people are thirsty, they drink beer; moreover when American people want to watch sports game on television, they usually go to bar and then drink beer while watch sports game, even people drink beer in the house when they watch sports game. I have very good experience in America. When I watched baseball in Boston, I saw that many American people drink beer in stadium. It means that American people enjoy drinking so much. I like that kind of culture. At that time I also drank a lot of beer with Americans. When Japanese people eat dinner, they drink alcohol. Also after finish their work in the night, most of Japanese people go to bar and then drink. The first one is very similar to Europe, because Europe people drink wine or champagne while they eat their meal. Most of countries have special alcohol. Korea has special alcohol which is Soju. It is very popular in Korea. One day, I drank Soju with Mexican, Russian, Japanese and American friends. They had tasted it and then I asked my friends about Soju. Mexican and Russian friends like Soju very much, because Mexico and Russia, there are Tequila and Vodka which are very similar to Soju. On the other hand, American and Japanese friends don’t like Soju, because American and Japanese people like sweet alcohol. Soju is not sweet. When I went to bar in America, I saw that many American people drink whisky, but they usually drink whisky with some soda. I think that American people like cocktail. Japanese people have also special alcohol which is Sake. Sake is very similar to Soju, but Sake is much sweeter than Soju. In Europe, there are many kinds of special beers and wine. Most of countries have their drinking cultures when they drink with old people. Korea people drink with old people; they should turn our neck and hide around the glass with the left hand not to show the drinking directly. It is showing our respect to the senior. When Korea people drink it with friends, juniors or quite young senior, they don't have to do like that. On the other hands, I think that American people don’t have this kind of culture. One day I went to bar with my teacher, who is over sixty years old. While I drank with him, he looked up at my face, because I think that my action was so strange for him. He asked me why when you drink, you always turn neck and hide the glass with hands. So I explain about that. After then he told me I don’t have to do that. He told me it is not necessary in America. Moreover when the old people offer liquor to young people in Korea, young people has to drink straight and then they have to offer back to old people. Taiwanese people also have this kind of culture. Most of country’s people do something after drink. Korean people sometimes move to another place to drink more or go and sing in a music arcade which has many rooms occupied with music machines. Japanese people have this kind of culture. Mexico people, after drink usually go to night club to dance. American people are a lot of bar and club, but usually bar and club close time is 2 am. So after drink American people can’t go to drink more or can’t go to club to dance. In Korea, most of bar and club close time is 5 or 6 am. When I was in Korea, I usually go to night club, after drink, but I am in America now, I can not do anything, after 2 am. Sometimes I want to go to night club after drink, but it is impossible, because the night club close too early.

  • [인종차별] RACISM.
The Rise of Hitler and the National Socialist PartyIs pure evil something that must develop within a person or is it a trait that is always present inside them? This is an opinionated question that has plagued psychologists for some time. In the heart of the 20th century World War II gave way to some of the most impacting events of pure evil in the history of the human race; The Holocaust. In order to find out how these ghastly events transpired, historians must look at the source of the war to see that these events do not reoccur in the future. The development of The Third Reich and Adolph Hitler, they’re fearless leader, was the cause of this mass extermination of people. The birth of this National Socialist Party came about for many reasons; Germany was in the heart of one of there worst depressions, It was suffering a lose from World War I, and was in desperate need of a new government. The Nazi Party cured Germany of these diseases that ailed them but at an atrocious price. In the ed solider in World War I and became interested in the art of Germany’s warfare. After the war Adolf was devastated that the finely tuned machine of the German army had lost. This loss may have been the cause of Hitler’s great success as a military leader because it drove him mentally to strive to be better than others. Adolf developed his own political views and realized that Austrian politics had become dominated by the bitter quarrels of the nationalities that made up its population. Hitler became obsessed with the idea that there should be no boarder between these two German-speaking countries of Austria and Germany. He felt that they should be under the same Reich. After the war the German government was in over its head. It had tried to become a democracy and was sinking fast. Revolts took place by the lower class demanding that they receive a ballot to vote for their leaders. Hitler’s solution to this was that the,“People of Germany could only be saved if the master race, the Geluding a large number of Communists.) The meeting proceeded with a speech by Hitler stating the Twenty Five Points of the German Workers' Party, its political platform, which included; the union of all Germans in a greater German Reich, rejection of the Treaty of Versailles, the demand for additional territories for the German people, citizenship determined by race with no Jew to be considered a German, all income not earned by work to be confiscated, a thorough reconstruction of the national education system, religious freedom except for religions which endanger the German race, and a strong central government for the execution of effective legislation. One by one Hitler went through the Twenty Five Points, asking the rowdy crowd for its approval on each point, which he got. For Hitler, the meeting was now a huge success and he was ready to move on towards his larger goals.By early 1921, Adolf Hitler was becoming highly effective at speaking in front of ever-larger crowds. In Februaryugh 1923 that propelled the Nazis to new heights of daring and would even prompt Hitler into attempting to take over Germany. In April of 1921, the victorious European Allies of World War One, notably France and England, presented a bill to Germany demanding payment for damages caused in the war which Germany had started. This bill (33 billion dollars) for war reparations had the immediate effect of causing ruinous inflation in Germany. The German currency, the mark, had slipped drastically in value and Germans lost their life savings, salaries were paid in worthless money, groceries cost billions, and hunger riots broke out.Hitler and the Nazis hatched a plot in which they would kidnap the leaders of the Bavarian government and force them at gunpoint to accept Hitler as their leader. Then, according to their plan, with the aid of famous World War One General, Erich Ludendorff, they would win over the German Army, proclaim a nationwide revolt and bring down the German democratic governere to catch it. Germany was not in good shape. The German people were tired of the political haggling in Berlin. They were tired of misery, tired of suffering, tired of weakness. These were desperate times and they were willing to listen to anyone, even Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler and the Nazis waged a modern whirlwind campaign in 1930 unlike anything ever seen in Germany. Hitler traveled the country delivering dozens of major speeches, attending meetings, shaking hands, signing autographs, posing for pictures, and even kissing babies. For Hitler, the master speechmaker, the long awaited opportunity to let loose his talents on the German people had arrived. He would find in this downtrodden people, an audience very willing to listen. In his speeches, Hitler offered the Germans what they needed most, encouragement. He gave them heaps of vague promises while avoiding the details. He used simple catchphrases, repeated over and over. (Speer 83-101)On election day September 14, 1930, the Na11
