3.신뢰성의 구성요소 ( Reliability Component)(1)아이템이란? - 재료, 부품, 기기, 시스템 - 기계, 전기전자, 화학,금속 아이템이란 재료, 부품, 기기, 시스템을 총 망라한 것으로 신뢰성 분석이나 측정의 대상을 의미한다. 신뢰성의 대상을 다양하게 분류한 이유는 신뢰성은 대상에 따라 분석방법이나 접근방법이 달라져야 하기 때문이다. (2) 규정된 환경이라? - 사용상태는 온도, 습도, 기압, 진동, 충동, 부하 등의 스트레스나 환경인자만이 아니라, 사용방법도 포함한다. 아이템에서 고장이 발생하는 원인을 살쳐보면 환경이나 사용조건이 맞지 않거나 가혹한 경우가 많이 있다. 신회성에서는 대상아이템에 고장을 유발할 수 있는 요인(스트레스, 부하)을 명확히 하여야 한다. (3) 규정된 시간이란? 시간의 규정은 신뢰성의 특징이다. 글자 그대로 시간의 경우도 있으며, 시간 이외의 시간에 상당한 측도를 이용한다. 예를 들면 동작회수, 반복회수, 사이클 수, 거리 등으로 해도 좋다.
