  • (영문) 스티비원더(Stevie Wonder) 의 업적, 대표곡소개
Why Stevie Wonder?Stevie Wonder is world famous singer that has various musical accomplishments and recognitions among the all over the world, but I personally didn’t have many knowledge of him. I was just heard his name and knew few of his songs which are super famous. In the class, we discussed about him as a great singer and songwriter in 60’s into the 70’s, so I could get little specific ideas about him from the lecture. Luckily, I had chance to attend his live concert when I was in Korea during last summer vacation, and it was so impressive for me. Since it is really hard to get a chance to hear this world renowned singer’s song in person nearby their home for Korean, there were so many people at the stadium. During the performance, they screaming, yelling, singing and dancing together including me. Just being there with these enthusiastic people was really great experience for me, and it was definitely unforgettable concert in my life. Therefore, I reminded his concert again and les, and writes and produces songs for many of his label mates and outside artists as well. Wonder plays the piano, synthesizer, harmonica, congas, drums, bass guitar, bongos, organ, melodica, and clavinet. In his childhood, he was best known for his harmonica work, but today he is better known for his keyboard skills and vocal ability.ImpactsWonder's songs are renowned for being quite difficult to sing. He has a very developed sense of harmony and uses many extended chords utilizing extensions. Many of his melodies make abrupt, unpredictable changes. Many of his vocal melodies are also melismatic, meaning that a syllable is sung over several notes. Some of his best known and most frequently covered songs are played in keys which are more often found in jazz than in pop and rock. Wonder played a large role in bringing synthesizers to the forefront of popular music. He developed many new textures and sounds never heard before. In 1981, Wonder became the first owner of an E-mu Emulator.Hs were created by Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff. The song also features trumpet and saxophone, played respectively by Steve Madaio and Trevor Laurence. The beat in this song is very similar to heartbeat speed, so some people said that it is impossible to sit down while listen this song.In the concert, he sang this song at the last part of concert and I remember most of people in the stadium were standing up and clapping, dancing, and singing with Stevie Wonder. For me, especially the splendid trumpet sound comes after the lyric “superstition ain’t the way” was so memorable when I listened it in person. I was so excited that I felt like my blood moving opposite direction. The song basically deals with superstitions, and mentions several popular superstitious fables in its lyrics. The lyric is pretty straight forward and he is saying that don't be so stupid and get worked up over superstitious beliefs you don’t understand, because most likely they're not true. Also in the chorus, "Wore about him. I love the lyric and the harmonica sound that is played in the whole song. When I listen to this song, I can feel how much he love his daughter by lyrics, his voice, and the harmonica sound that played by him. At the live concert in Korea, everyone in the stadium sang with him this song. It is so familiar to Korean because one of Korean artists was remake this song. It was a hugely popular song at that time. For me, it was really honor that I could hear this song with his actual vocal.“Living for the City” (Length 7:21 (full-length version), 3:41 (single edit))Stevie Wonder lead vocal, background vocals, Fender Rhodes, drums, Moog bass, T.O.N.T.O. synthesizer, handclaps“Living for the City” is in a 1973 hit single from his Innervisions album. This song reached #8 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart and #1 on the R&B chart. The record is driven by a slow bass synth groove that manages to exude a certain amount of tension, an appropriate soundscape for the angry social commteve, you can do better than that, this is shit" and I was really shirty with him, and we got him hoarse, we wouldn't give him tea, he likes this tea with no milk in it, with the lemon to clear the throat, We didn't give him the tea. (Laughs) He was getting real upset; I think he's still upset with me about that, but we got a great track!" This true story is so funny and also very creative that how this professional musician tried to get the sound he wants.I think the main subject of the concert in Korea was peace and love. In the middle of the concert, all the lights in the stadium went off and Stevie Wonder started to give a long speech about the current situation of South and North Korea, and communication between them. He is the person who tried to criticize the existing problem in 1970s and tried to figure out as an action, so I personally very impressed with his speech. After this dark moment, he sang the song, “Vision” and then "Living for the City," so that is why I remembered 9>.1

    2. History of the CompanyCoach is a modern classic American accessory brand, and represents theAmerican luxury brand. Coach’s products made today have the same clarity of designand precision of craft as one made 70 years ago.Coach was founded in 1941 by Lilian Cahn and Miles Cahn as a small family-runworkshop. In a Manhattan loft, six skilled leather workers handcrafted a collection ofleather goods, such as purses and pouches, with high quality skills which were handeddown from generation to generation. In 1962, Bonnie Cashin, one of the most successful fashion designers, who wassigned by Miles Cahn, produced a flat leather bag which was inspired by a standardshopping bag. This contributed to bringing Coach into a new era of design withdemanded function. She also introduced another hit in the early 70s with the sporty, utilitarian “Duffle Sac.” She made the leather tender, stronger, and made it possible toprevent the discoloration of the leather by using an innovative method of leatherprocessing.
