I chose a korean movie, Missing,2016. First of all, I will explain the plot of the film. Ji-seon is a working mother who is responsible for parenting and livelihood after divorce, alone. She devoted to care for her daughter. Ji-seon struggles with her mother-in-law, her husband, who is trying to take her daughter. But, it was too difficult to do parenting and working at the same time. So, she employed a nanny, Hanmae who is from china. Hanmae is really nice to the daughter and Ji-seon both. So, Ji-seon trusted Hanmae very much. One day, after returning home from work, Ji-seon finds that Hanmae and her daughter have disappeared without trace. Ji-seon informs the police and the family of the fact later, but no one believes her words, and rather they suspect that it is her self-inflicted act for winning a custody suit. Ji-seon is afraid of adversely affecting the custody lawsuit, and goes to find his daughter without even being able to file a complaint. Eventually, Ji-seon, who was tracki on the roadside. Hanmae, who finds that none of her family will make an effort to save her daughter, is done without any work for the child. But for Hanmae, the world was so harsh. Hanmae illegally traded to the organs and tried to arrange her daughter's surgery, but time did not wait for her. Hanmae is thrown out of bed with her daughter. And it was Ji-seon's daughter who took the place of the ward. Hanmae has plannedly approached Ji-seon for revenge, but she feels maternal love for Ji-seon's daughter. Hanmae brings her abducted daughter back to China to board a ship to live. At that moment, Ji-seon, with the help of the police, finds Hanmae and her daughter on the ship. Hanmae, who heard the appeal of her mother, Ji-seon, jumps off the boat after she returns her child. Ji-seon tried to save her, but she missed Hanmae in the water. Eventually Ji-seon is rescued and the movie ends with her meeting her daughter in the hospital.Ji-seon gets why Hanmae is forced to do so in the process othe same choice if they are in the same situation because they are mothers of the same motherhood. By showing the high level of maternal love that Ji-seon understands and embraces Hanmae's pain, the film has surpassed the level of simple addiction that has already been introduced in several occasions, limited to the case of finding or losing a child. The sympathy between women with the same feelings is evident.The role of wife and husband in Korean society is still not fair. This is because the weight of housework tends to be concentrated on women even though the majority of women have to work for economic reasons. In the 21st century, the male-centric mindset still holds the perception that women should do more with housework and childcare. This film is a work that shows the woes of working mom. The work flows mysteriously through a thriller, but the pain of working mom looking inside is realistic. There is nothing more important than raising your own child, but in reality, 'childcareer child is not simply maternal. There is a sense of guilt in the behavior of ji-seon, who is madly looking for a child and dedicating everything to him. As a working mom, she earns money, seeks someone to care for my child, and she tries to care for my child, but all these efforts are lost as the child disappears. In the end, ji-seon has nothing wrong, but she has to suffer more than anyone and is destined to fight harder than anyone else. Working moms became popular culture because working moms increased and their voices grew, but the weight of life given to them did not lighten. If working moms were equipped with a social system that could catch both career and family at the same time, it would be hard to make the audience sympathize with them.
