    초록

    The purpose of this study is to provide quantitative basic data for the improvement of performance by kinematic analysis of successful and unsuccessful free throws for wheelchair basketball players. The result of the study is as follows.
    First, there was no significant difference in backward, foreward, and total time between success and failure in free throw motion, but total average time was even greater than failure in success. Second, there was no significant difference in upper extremity segment and ball movement deviation between the upper extremity segment and the ball according to the success and failure in the free throw motion.
    However, by the mean value, in both cases of success and failure in the backward and in the foreward showed similar distance with no much movement at every segment. For foreward and backward variables, brochial and forearm showed great moving distance for success and failure at backward, and vertical variable, backward and foreward’s success and failure showed great moving distance for the ball and followed by hands and forearm. Third, there was a significant difference in the E1 of the forearm segment between the upper segment and the upper segment of the upper extremity segment. And another segment and the ball did not show significant difference. However, when looked at the average value, both the upper extremity segment and the ball increases from E1 to E3 both in success and failure, and in E3, the ball velocity is the fastest and the next is in the order of hand, And in the upper arm segment and the ball, it was faster than failure in the success. Fourth, there was no significant difference between the success and failure of the upper extremity segment angle for each event according to the success and failure in the free throw motion, but there was a significant difference in the projection angle of the ball at its release. The mean value of upper extremity segment angle showed that the shoulder joint angle and elbow joint angle stretch out less bent segments at the when success than that of failure while wrist joint angle stretch out ben segment at the when success. Fifth, there was no significant difference in the angular momentum between the success and failure of the free throw operation in the upper arm, the forearm, the hand, and the whole, but at the comparison of mean value, angular momentum showed greater at the when success than that of failure at each angular momentum of upper arm, the forearm, the hand, and the whole was higher than that of failure angular momentum.
