피지털 패션에 나타난 인터미디어의 융합적 표현과 특성 (The Convergent Expressions and Characteristics of Intermedia in Physital Fashion)

초록

본 연구는 장르 간 탈경계와 융합의 결과물인 피지털 패션의 해외 사례가 급증함에 따라 관련 사례를 수집하고 인터미디어적 표현 특성을 바탕으로 이를 분석하는 데에서 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 분석과 특성 도출을 통하여 앞으로 피지털 패션제품 및 서비스의 나아갈 방향성을 제시하는 것이다.
따라서 본 논문은 인터미디어 관련 선행연구 분석을 통하여 인터미디어의 특성을 도출하고, 피지털 패션사례를 수집하여 이를 인터미디어 특성에 따라 분석을 이행하였다.
연구 결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현대 패션에 나타난 피지털 패션의 유형은 전달 매체와 전개 방식의 차이에 따라 ‘패션 미디어’, ‘버추얼 인플루언서’, ‘패션 게이미피케이션’, ‘패션 메타코노미’ 유형으로 나뉘어 나타나고 있다. 둘째, 피지털 패션은 다양한 분야간의 기술 융합과 협업을 통해 개발된 패션 관련 콘텐츠의 종류와 형태, 표현 양식과 전달 방식, 기술과 가치의 차이 등 다각적인 측면에서 기존의 패션에서 벗어난 인터미디어 표현 특성을 보이고 있다. 셋째, 이는‘매체의 확장을 통한 탈 장르화’, ‘공간의 확장을 통한 초연결성’, ‘참여와 소통의 확장을 통한 능동적 몰입’ 그리고 ‘가치의 확장을 통한 정체성 강화’로 나타난다.
이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 피지털 패션은 재미와 경험을 중시하며 소비자 중심적 사고에 익숙한 MZ세대를 주축으로 변화하는 소비 트렌드를 모두 수용할 수 있는 뉴노멀 시대에 적합한 패션 산업의 새로운 방향성에 적합하며, 앞으로 더욱 활발한 피지털패션 콘텐츠 개발 및 활용을 위한 분석 연구로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

This study started with collecting physital fashion cases and analyzing them based on intermedia expression characteristics.
The purpose of this study is to suggest the future direction of physital fashion products and services through analysis of physital fashion and deduction of characteristics. Therefore, in this paper, the characteristics of intermedia were derived through the analysis of intermedia-related prior research, and cases of physital fashion were collected and analyzed according to the characteristics of intermedia.
The research results and contents are as follows.
First, the types of physital fashion appearing in modern fashion are 'fashion media', 'virtual influencer', 'fashion gamification', and 'fashion metaconomy' depending on the difference in delivery medium and development method. Second, physital fashion is developed through technological convergence and collaboration between various fields. Physical fashion shows intermedia expression characteristics that depart from the existing fashion in various aspects such as the type and form of fashion content, the expression style and delivery method, and the difference between technology and value. Third, it appears as ‘deconstruction of genre through the expansion of media’, ‘super-connectivity through expansion of space’, ‘active immersion through expansion of participation and communication’, and ‘strengthening identity through expansion of values’.
Based on these research results, physital fashion is suitable for the new direction of the fashion industry suitable for the new normal era, which places importance on fun and experience and can accommodate all the changing consumption trends led by the MZ generation, who is accustomed to consumer-centric thinking.
It is expected that it will be used as an analysis research for more active development and utilization of physital fashion contents in the future.
