춤 언어의 소통에 관한 기호학적 해석 연구 (Interpretive Analysis regarding Language Communication in the form of Dancing in view of Semiotics)

초록

This study starts from the epistemological concept that dancing exists not only as the symbol but also as the cultural factor. In other words, the model of the symbolical interaction regarding the linguistic meaning and communication of a dance symbol has been drawn upon grounded on the fact that the symbol stems from communication. It is the result of searching for the semiotic semantics that makes the dance code and the process of its decoding possible as the nonverbal and nonvocal language as well as the establishment of the related factors and the semiotic area related with dancing. As a result, dancing has witnessed its specialty only the dance language can offer in the area of kinesics along with its artistic functions and semantic analysis.
What is important about the communicative model of dancing among the communicative elements that constitute the communication is the semantic action related with various contexts and connections until the message and codes are fully interpreted. Likewise, the methodology to read dancing as the cultural semiotic text was necessary in light of its role that executes aesthetical and cultural functions as the artistic code. The academic interpretation and analytical framework regarding three categories of language, symbols and culture on dancing is based on the notion that the language exists within the category of culture. Meanwhile, the language was forming the cultural text through semantic interaction called ‘symbol’ and the communicative model.
The study on the cultural semiotics coupled with such phenomenon will be a practical learning as another rule that tests and verifies the process of forming art besides the inference on the communication and meaning of the symbolic entirety constituting the culture.
