그림책 기반 민요 교수․학습프로그램 개발 (The development of picture book-based folk song teaching and learning program)

초록

언어예술과 시각예술이 접목된 그림책은 예술 통합 효과 및 생생한 간접 경험, 직관적인 맥락의 이해와 인문학적 통합의 가능성, 학습을 도와주는 매체와 놀잇감으로서 기능, 친숙함 등의 장점이 있어 현장 교육에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국악의 문해력 향상 및 통합적인 민요 교수․학습을 실행하기 위해 그림책 기반 민요의 교수․학습 프로그램의 방향을 설정하고, 설계 과정에서 그림책을 전략적으로 사용하는 방법을 제시고자 한다. 이 전략을 바탕으로 그림책 기반 민요 교수․학습 프로그램을 개발하고자 한다.
그림책의 특성과 대상 학생 발달과정의 특성을 고찰하고, ‘통합적’, ‘활동 중심’, ‘표현중심’, ‘악곡 중심’, ‘과정 중심’의 프로그램 개발의 기본 방향을 설정하였다.
설정한 기본 방향에 따라 그림책 읽기, 민요 읽기, 통합 예술 활동의 세 측면에서의 교수․학습전략을 설정하여 그림책을 읽는 과정에 따라 제시하였다.
프로그램 개발의 기본 방향과 교수학습 전략을 수행할 수 있도록 음악 영역과 예술영역, 여러 교과 및 인지적, 정의적, 심동적 영역에서의 통합이 가능한 ‘통합적 감상수업모형’을 수정하여 그림책 기반 교수학습 모형을 제시하였다.
그림책 기반 민요 교수․학습 프로그램에 적합한 단행본 그림책을 중심으로 선정하여 관련 제재와 음원 제공 여부, 교수학습을 진행할 대상 학년과 연계 교과 등으로 분석해보았다. 그 중 우리나라 대표 민요인 ‘아리랑’을 중심으로 민요의 교수․학습 프로그램을 구안하였다.
그림책 기반 민요 교수․학습 프로그램은 직관적으로 사회문화적 맥락을 이해하고, 교과 및 영역과 생활을 연계하여 국악의 문해력을 향상시키며, 인문학적인 통합 활동을 통해 관련 역량을 신장시킬 수 있을 것이다. 이를 통해 민요라는 음악 문법을 쉽게 익히고, 능동적인 표현 도구로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영어초록

Picture books that combine language arts and visual arts are widely used in the education field since it has the advantage of function and familiarity as an effect of art integration, vivid indirect experience, intuitive contextual understanding, the possibility of humanities integration, and media and entertainment that helps learning.
This study will set the direction of the picture book-based folk song teaching and learning program and present a method of strategically using the picture books in the design process to improve the literacy skills of Korean traditional music and conduct integrated folk song teaching and learning.
Based on this strategy, this study will develop a picture book-based folk song teaching and learning program.
This study considered characteristic of picture book and development process of applied student and set basic directions for the program development with features such as “integrated,” “activity-oriented,” “expression-oriented,” “music-oriented,” and “process-oriented.” According to the established basic direction, the teaching and learning strategies in three aspects of reading picture books, reading folk songs, and the integrated art activities were established and presented based on the process of reading picture books.
A picture book-based teaching and learning model was presented by revising the “integrated appreciation lesson model” which can be integrated into the music and art fields, various subjects, and in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains to implement the basic direction of the program development and teaching and learning strategies.
The picture books ideal for the picture book-based folk song teaching and learning programs were selected and analyzed based on the relevant restrictions, the availability of sound sources, the target grade students, and related subjects for teaching and learning.
Among them, a book was selected from each traditional children’s song, play song, and Korean folk song and the folk song teaching and learning program was devised.
The picture book-based folk song teaching․learning program will help understand the socio-cultural context intuitively, improve the literacy skills of the Korean traditional music by linking the subjects and fields with life, and expand related competency through the integrated humanities activities.
This will be used to learn the music grammar of folk songs and as a tool for active expression.
