지역 산업발전 역동성에 기여할 미래인재 양성을 위한 산학연계 진로지도 방향성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Industrial-Educational Career Guidance for the Cultivation of Future Talent with the Ability to Contribute to the Dynamics of Regional Industry Development)

초록

본 연구는 최근 다각도로 추진 중인 기업과 교육기관 간 산학연계 진로지도의 성공적 운영을 위해 그 목적과 방향을 명확히 하고, 궁극적 효과성 극대화를 위해 진행하였다. 그 목적은 개인의 영달보다도 정책추진에 걸 맞는 우리나라의 국격 상승에 기여하고 선진문화 창조에 기여할 수 있는 미래인재 양성이 되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 진로의 선택이 개인의 선호 요인의 선험과 선택에서 한 단계 나아가, 지역 특수성을 고려하여 과거 성공 진로 지향이 아닌, 향후 지역산업 역동성에 기여할 수 있는 진로 방향 제시가 필요하다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 세계 선진 교육 시스템의 탐색적 연구방법론과 국내 우수 고교 학생들의 진로 선택 방향 및 교내 활동 등 기록 근거들을 질적 정성 분석하여 실증적 연구방법을 일부 적용하였다. 우리나라의 선진국 진입을 앞당기는 데 기여할 필요성이 있다고 판단되어 2010년 삼성경제연구소에서 실시한 선진화에 대한 국민의견 조사를 선진국 사례와 비교 검토하여 지역 특성 반영 미래인재 양성을 위한 산학연계 진로지도 프로그램 틀을 고안하여 그 운영 방향성을 제시하였다.
연구결과 우수 인재들이 과거에 성공한 주변 인물을 모델로 삼아 진로를 선택하는 경향이 있었고, 본인의 역할, 기여, 창의적이고 미래 지향적인 통찰 근거는 찾아보기 어려웠으며, 단기적 목표 성취에 따라 선호학과 진학 입시를 위해 매진하고 있는 현실임이 확인 되었다. 산학연계 진로지도가 사회적 필요성과 가치, 직업관에 대해 생각해보고 지역에 기여하고자 하는 욕구를 불어 넣어 줌으로써 기업과 국가 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 미래인재 양성을 위한 목표성취 동기부여가 절실하다.

영어초록

This study was conducted in order to clarify the purpose and method for successful management of industrial-educational career guidance between corporate enterprises and educational institutions, which has recently been promoted from various perspectives, and to maximize its ultimate effectiveness. The purpose of such guidance is the cultivation of future talent that has the ability to contribute to improving the nation’s status and promotion of policies rather than the achievement of individual distinction. Furthermore, career choices should go one step further than personal preference and career guidance should not be oriented towards established careers and instead contribute to future dynamics of regional industry development in consideration of regional particularities. To achieve the purpose of this study, the exploratory research methods of the world’s advanced education systems and the records of Korea’s top high school students’ career choices and school activities are qualitatively analyzed with partial application of empirical research methods. With the realization of the country’s need to become a developed country faster, the results of a national survey on the advancement of the country conducted by the Samsung Economic Research Institute in 2010 are compared with cases from developed countries. Accordingly, the industrial-educational career guidance program model for the cultivation of future talent based on regional particularities is developed to provide an operational direction.
The results reveal that outstanding students choose their career paths based on the success of those around them and that it is difficult to find proof of individual student’s roles, contribution, creativity, and future-oriented insight. The study also confirms that students are striving only to be admitted into their preferred department according to their short-term goals. In order to drive the cultivation of future talent that can contribute to improving corporate enterprise and the nation, it is essential for industrial-educational career guidance to consider society’s needs, values, and occupational views and motivate the desire to contribute regionally.
