한일 지속가능개발목표의 추진체계와 상호협력방안 (A Proposal to Korea-Japan Cooperation and Governance of the Sustainable Development Goals)

초록

The UN has set SDGs as a standard for the international community to live together, and the coexistence of the present and future generations, coexistence of all human beings, including developed and developing countries, people, economy, society and the environment. ‘Leaving No One Behind,’ a motto contained the agenda for sustainable Development, is stated to be achieved by 2030. To this end, 17 goals, 169 targets, and 232 indices are set up. Based on these, the UN publishes an annual index and dashboard report and a Global Sustainable Development Report(GSDR) every 4 years to encourage and monitor the participation of member countries around the world.
Each country is also required to submit a report stating its progress in SDGs to the UN HLPF every four years, and various plans and projects to achieve SDGs by each country are being promoted. However, it can be said that the practice of SDGs is not limited to the individual and national level, but can only be completed when participation and cooperation on the global level is guaranteed.
Korea and Japan were found to be very different in terms of SDGc promotion organization, direction, and localization strategy, and it is worth noting that the emphasis was placed on Japan's feasibility, localization, and role of companies. Furthermore, it is imperative to understand the status of data and regional promotion in monitoring SDGs that are sustainable. In order for Korea to fulfill the action plan at the regional level, it also needs to upgrade its proponents. In addition, the index of Corona 19, which is an unexpected natural disaster and a souce of social upheaval, is added, and above all, the international community's cooperation and support are desperate as it disproportionately affects the underprivileged and underdeveloped countries in all aspects such as jobs, diseases, environment, and human rights.
