초록

Modular online and offline education method for the expand of Korean studies/Korean language education overseas. The purpose of this study is to present a plan for developing a convergent education program online and offline as a way to expand Korean language education overseas. To this end, we will take a look at online and offline learning from a system perspective and look at the modular curriculum in terms of development of the curriculum as an approach to expand support for overseas Korean language education, and based on these review, present a plan for developing an on- and off-line convergent modular curriculum. It is the professionalism of teachers that has the most direct impact on the quality of Korean language education. However, a lot of experiences and resources must be invested in training teachers with expertise. In addition, Korean language teachers at foreign university have sufficient expertise, but a lack of competent teachers compared to overseas demand, and the financial burden of sending teachers on faculty level is considerable. Development of an on- and off-line convergent curriculum can provide solutions to these difficulties. Modular online courses to be distributed abroad through the convergent-integrated curriculum should be developed, including ways to utilize local operating agent.
