『통합 漢韓大辭典』의 國字 처리에 대하여 (On the Treatments of Korean-originated Chinese Characters in the Unified Great Chinese-Korean Dictionary)

초록

이 글은 韓國漢字語辭典 (1996)의 國字 처리 실태를 검토하고, 통합 漢韓大辭典 에서 보완해야 할 國字 에 대해 논의하였다.
國字 처리 실태의 측면에서 韓國漢字語辭典 (1996) 등의 國字 판단 기준이 중국 역대 자서나 운서의 수록여부에 있음을 밝혔고, 鮎貝房之進(1931)의 경우에는 자형 형성 방법의 고유성도 國字 판단 기준으로 삼고 있음을 밝혔다. 韓國漢字語辭典 (1996)의 國字 세부 유형으로 ‘구결 이두 합자, 합자, 속자, 동자, 약자, 구결자, 악보기호’ 등이 있음을 확인하였고 세부 유형이 제시되지 않은 國字도 다수 있음을 언급하였다. 韓國漢字語辭 典 (1996)에서 새로이 國字로 규정한 것이 다수 있음을 밝혔고, 일부의 國字에 대해서는 字形 상 고유성을 가지는 근거를 제시하였으며, 일부의 國字는 한자로 규정해야 할 근거를 제시하였다. 한편 누락한 國字도 다수있음을 밝혔다. 鮎貝房之進(1931)에서 속자 즉 國字로 규정한 것들의 일부를 韓國漢字語辭典 (1996)에서 國 義字로 규정하여 일부는 부정적인 결과를 초래했으나 일부는 긍정적 결과를 가져왔음을 밝혔다.
통합 漢韓大辭典 의 國字 보완 측면에서 새로이 추가되어야 할 國字의 목록을 제시하였다. 남풍현(1989) 에서 논의된 합자, 한국역사정보통합시스템에서 채집된 구결 이두 합자, 노명호 외(2000)에서 정리된 이체자와 國字, 신라어 ‘*긥’을 표기한 한자 등을 새로이 國字로 규정해야 함을 언급하였다.

영어초록

This paper examined the real treating situations of letters of a country (hereafter, Korean) in a「 dictionary of compound words of Korean made of Chinese characters (1997)」 and discussed Korean to be supplemented in an integrated「Chinese-Korean Dictionary」.
In a real-state aspect of treating Korean, the judgment standards of Korean in the “dictionary of compound words of Korean made of Chinese characters (1997)” were whether the words are recorded in a dictionary of Chinese characters or a dictionary of rhyme of Chinese characters. In case of Ayugai Husanoshin (1931), he revealed that the peculiarity of formation methods of characters’ shapes was made to be the judgment standards of Korean.
As detailed types of Korean in the 「dictionary of compound words of Korean made of Chinese characters (1997)」, it was checked that there are “Gugyeol Idu hap-ja [double letters with Gugyeol and Idu], hap-ja [double letters], sok-ja [simplified forms of letters], dong-ja [same letters], yak-ja [abbreviations], Gugyeol-ja [Gugyeol letters], and musical characters”. It stated that there was lots of Korean that the detailed types were not proposed.
It disclosed that there are lots of things newly defined as Korean in the「dictionary of compound words of Korean made of Chinese characters (1997)」. About some of Korean, bases with peculiarities in shapes of characters were presented. About other letters of Korean, bases which should be defined as Chinese characters were proposed. On the other hand, it revealed that there was a lot of Korean missed-out. Ayugai Husanoshin (1931) prescribed sok-ja [simplified forms of letters], namely, some of Korean as gukui-ja [letters whose new meanings are endowed, different from the original meanings] in the「dictionary of compound words of Korean made of Chinese characters (1997)」. He disclosed that some of them incurred negative results, but others took positive results.
From a supplementary aspect of Korean in the「Chinese-Korean dictionary」, a list of Korean to be added newly was presented. It was stated to define that Hap-ja [double letters] which was discussed by Nam Pung-hyeon (1989), Gugyeol Idu hap-ja [double letters with Gugyeol and Idu] which was collected by Korean History Online, iche-ja [variant letters] and Korean arranged by Roh Myeong-ho and others (2000), and a Chinese character ( ) that “*긥 [guib]” of Silla language was written.
