초록

경희대의 ‘학술적 글쓰기’는 A4 1장 정도의 5단락 글쓰기를 반복 훈련함으로써 비판적 사고와 논리적 표현을 강화하고, 세계를 해석하면서 새로운 관점으로 자신의 인문교양을 함양하는 데에 그 특징을 두고 있다. 특히 ‘글쓰기 2’ 교재의 핵심 특징은 2장의 ‘인간, 욕망, 공동체, 자본주의, 문명, 지구 등’의 테마에 대해 A4 1장 정도의 5단락 글쓰기로 원고를 작성하여 ‘읽고 생각하고 쓰기’를 반복 훈련하는 것에 있다. 즉 하나의 주제에 대해 인문학, 사회과학, 자연과학, 의학, 예체능 등 다양한 분야의 관점에서 각론적 주제를 도출할 수 있도록 배치한 것이다. 이 반복 훈련은 이후 ‘5단락 글쓰기의 확장형으로서의 소논문 작성’을 수행할 때 든든한 기초 체력으로 작동한다.
필자는 필자의 2013년 1학기 수업 중 ‘온라인 합평, 중간고사 대체 학위논문 요약 및 논평, 소논문 작성 발표 사례’ 등을 통해 경희대학교 ‘글쓰기 2’ 수업의 실제를 검토하였다. ‘글쓰기 2’ 교재의 내용을 충실히 수업하면서 오프라인 토론을 진행하는 것에 그치지 않고, ‘온라인 합평’과 ‘중간고사 대체 학위논문 요약 및 논평’을 적극적으로 실시함으로써 학생들로부터 학습 효과에 대한 유의미한 평가를 받았다. 그것은 교수자가 제시한 수업 목표와 수행 과제를 학생들이 묵묵히 수행함으로써 얻어진 결과라고 판단된다. 대학 글쓰기 교육에서의 학술적 글쓰기는 지속적인 각론으로서의 프로그램을 개발하며 변신 중이다. 그 저변에는 교수자와 학습자 사이에 교육 목표와 과정, 내용을 공유하는 피드백 작업이 선행되어야 한다. 그러한 ‘온-오프라인에서의 피드백’을 통한 공감대 형성의 글쓰기 방법을 경희대 ‘글쓰기 2’ 수업의 구체적 사례를 통해 분석하였다. 오프라인 수업과 온라인 합평을 연계하고 결합한 수업 방식은 지속적으로 개발되어야 할 프로그램이라고 판단된다.

영어초록

Critical thinking and expression in academic writing is a means of leverage to enhance writing to emphasize liberal arts ever. Kyunghee university’s ‘writing 2’ focuses on a logical representation and critical thinking by the strengthening of ‘5 paragraph essay writing as an extension to complete’. that is the goal of this class. Kyunghee’s ‘academic writing’ sheets of A4 1 is repeated five paragraph writing train. While enhancing critical thinking and logical representations foster a liberal arts putting on its features.
‘Writing 2’ are key features of the teaching in 2 chapter ‘human desire, community, capitalism, civilization, earth, etc’. for the theme of the sheets of A4 1 to manuscript writing a ‘5 paragraph’ of the ‘reading, writing, and thinking’ repeat training thereof. That is one of the topics in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, medicine, arts, physicals, etc. The purpose of each in terms of a wide range of theoretical topics will be posted so that you can draw. After repeated training as an extension to ‘5 paragraph essay writing’ write to complete the work of the strong fundamentals.
The first semester of the 2013 class’ ‘online happyeong(=joint review)’, ‘mid-term alternative thesis summary and commentary’, ‘small essay writing practice’, and the Kyunghee University’s Writing 2 examined the actual class. ‘Writing 2’ faithfully the content of textbooks and teaching was conducted off-line discussions. As well as ‘online happyeong’ and ‘mid-term alternative thesis summary and commentary’ by actively conducting evaluation was more than expected from the students. It is presented by Professor Objectives forced to self-perform the tasks in silence and accept the responsibility of students. Writing is academic writing of university continuing education program development and transformation as being particulars. Between the teacher and the learner objectives and process of education, to share information, work must be preceded feedback. ‘On-off-line feedback’ through the landscape of writing Kyunghee consensus ‘Writing 2’ through teaching academic writing in progress. Because Humanitas is ‘writing people’.
