사운드 스케이프를 활용한 인천 서구 세어도의 지속 가능한 관광상품 개발방안 (A Study to Develop Sustainable Tourism Products using the Soundscape of Seodo, Seo-gu, Incheon)

초록

본 연구는 많은 사람이 아닌 진정한 생태관광객과 환경 중심의 관광을 즐기는 사람만을 위한 고부가가치의 세어도 사운드 스케이프를 즐기면서 어촌 체험을 할 수 있도록 관광상품을 개발하고자 했다. 특히, 인천 서구 세어도 현재의 친환경 상태를 유지하면서 경제를 활성화할 수 있는 지속 가능한 관광상품을 개발하고자 했다. 현재와 같이 주말에 시행하는 갯벌체험, 바비큐 파티, 레크리에이션 등으로 구성된 하루 체험 행사 외에 사운드 스케이프를 활용한 지속 가능한 관광상품을 개발하고자 했다. 갯벌에서 바지락과 고등을 캐고, 앞바다에서 숭어와 농어를 낚시하는 것도 좋지만, 세어도가 내뿜는 자연의 언어인 소리와 시각을 활용하여 남녀노소 모두가 즐길 수 있는 유니버셜 디자인된 사운드 스케이프 체험 프로그램을 개발하고자 했다. 특히, 본 연구는 세어도의 사운드 스케이프를 사운드워크 평가 방법론과 근거 이론을 적용하여 실증 평가하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 세어도의 전체적인 인상과 음향적 편안함이 유의미한 수치를 나타냈다는 점과 공간적, 시각적, 음향적, 후각적, 반응적 요소(Context)가 세어도 사운드 스케이프 인식체계에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 점을 확인하였다. 이를 바다, 육지, 자연의 소리로 나누어 그 의미를 살펴보면, 바다는 ‘철새소리와 바람소리, 물비늘’로, 육지는 ‘바람소리와 새소리, 개구리소리’, 자연에서는 ‘바람소리와 갈대소리, 햇빛’이 긍정적인 평가를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 아직도 오염되지 않은 채 남아있는 세어도를 관광 상품화할 수 있는 매력적인 세어도의 지속 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구가 풍속, 온도, 습도 등을 측정하는 전문장비를 사용하지 않아서 한계가 있으며, 추후 세어도의 1년 사계절 변화추이를 실증 조사하는 후속연구가 필요하다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to develop tourism products for genuine eco-tourists and those who enjoy environment-oriented tourism, which is not the majority of people. In particular, the idea is to develop a tourism product that allows you to experience a fishing village while enjoying Seodo, Seo-gu, Incheon, which has a high value-added soundscape. It was intended to develop sustainable tourism products that could revitalize the economy while maintaining the eco-friendly state of Seodo. In addition to the one-day event consisting of a tidal flats experience, barbecue party, and further recreation, which is currently held on weekends, developing a sustainable tourism product using soundscapes was also desired. It is also good to dig clams and mackerel in the tidal flats, and fish for mullet and perch in the offshore waters. However, developing a universally designed soundscape experience program that can be enjoyed by all ages by using sound and sight, the natural language of Seodo, was the key aim. The methodology of this study was empirically evaluated by applying the sound work evaluation methodology and grounded theory. As a result of the analysis of this study, first, the overall impression and acoustic comfort of the count showed significant values. Second, it was confirmed that spatial, visual, acoustic, olfactory, and reactive context had a positive effect on the soundscape recognition system. It is divided into the sound of the sea, land, and nature, and the meaning is as follows. First, in the sea, 'the sound of migratory birds, the sound of the wind, and the scales of water' received positive reviews. Second, on land, ‘the sound of the wind, the sound of birds and the sound of frogs’ received positive evaluations. Third, it was found that 'the sound of wind, the sound of reeds, and the sunlight' received positive evaluations in nature. It was possible to confirm the sustainability of commercializing Seodo, which is still not polluted, as a tourism product. However, this study had limitations because it did not use specialized equipment to measure wind speed, temperature, humidity, etc., thus, a follow-up study to empirically investigate the seasonal changes in Seodo is needed.
