중국 북경과 상해 여성의 피부색 특성 연구 (Comparison of Female Skin Colors of Beijing and Shanghai of China)

초록

This research aimed to investigate the difference between the skin color of 25~35 years old females of the two major cities of China, Beijing and Shanghai. Skin colors of face (forehead, right and left cheeks) and body (back of neck, inner arm) of the residents of Beijing and Shanghai were measured using the Minolta CM-600d spectrophotometer. Collected CIE L * a * b * values and Munsell HVC values were analyzed using the SPSS software. Face and body colors of the females of 2 cities were all fell in the YR hue type.
Independent t-test on the body colors of females resulted in a significant difference (p=.000) between Beijing and Shanghai on most variables which indicated that females of Beijing had more yellowness in their neck and darker arm than the females of Shanghai.
Linear regression analysis which was conducted to investigate the relationship between the face colors and the body colors indicated that the L * a * b * values of face and body of both cities were positively related. When K-means cluster analysis was conducted regarding the whole samples, the females were grouped into 3 groups based on their L * a * b * values. Group 1 had the darkest skin color with high redness and yellowness, Group 2 had the lightest skin color with least yellowness and redness, Group 3 had the medium skin color with high yellowness. Highest proportion of Beijing females fell into Group 1 (38.9%) whereas the same number of females were Groups 2 and Group 3. More than half (56.7%) of Shanghai females belonged to Group 3, with 25.0% of Group 2 and 18.3% of Group 3. The result implies that overall the females of Beijing had darker skin color with yellowness than the females of Shanghai.
