권정생의 시 <소> 연작을 통해 본 현실 인식 (Kwon Jung-Saeng's Awareness of Reality on his Serial Poems )

초록

Kwon Jung-Saeng is one of the representative writers of juvenile stories in Korea. He published poems steadily though he was a juvenile story writer. The study about his poetry is in a step of beginning. Although there are many readers of his works, results of studies about his works has not reached to his reputation. Especially for his poetry, the quantity of studies is lack. This study is a trial for concrete study about his poetry. This article explored the subjects in poetry written by Kwon Jung-Saeng through three steps. The three steps are setting the subjects on works by analysis of his poems, checking the subjects through his standards on other essays, and confirming them by his last will and testament.
The loneliness is a keynote of ‘the reality of deficiency and the hope for union’. The loneliness on <cowㆍ1> and <cowㆍ2> is based on nostalgia. It is caused by missing something important such as hometown or family. Loves for them was expressed as individual's loneliness on his works. ‘The bridle of pain and the value of low status’ ooze out from the pain. The pain expressed on <cowㆍ4>,<cowㆍ6>, and <cowㆍ3> is for poor neighbors and low people who are suffering. The sadness gave birth to ‘the structural contradiction and fateful defeats’. On <cowㆍ5> and <cowㆍ7>, we can find a fate of the weak who are sacrificed by structural contradictions. It is the pain that should be endured because of political power and wars, although they did not want.
