초록

This study is to examine education and training of talents in exhibition culture industry, which emerged as a national growing industry in the age of culture. Currently, as people in Korea are not much aware of exhibition design, exhibition designers in exhibition, one of the crucial functions of museums, are merely playing the role of assistant of curators.
Even in the department of interior, a space-related sector just as exhibition design, classes of exhibition design are so insufficient that graduates rarely advance into exhibition areas. As the survey conducted in this study, most of the exhibition related companies have difficulties in finding human resources specialized in exhibition. Ironically, though, a number of interior major graduates are still looking for interior design related jobs. It seems that this is partly because exhibition design and interior design areas provide education programs not accurately predicting the demand and supply.
