A study on the Tradition and Value System of the Siamou Tribe in the Village of Orodara in Burkina Faso, West Africa

In 2021, humans are living in the age of artificial intelligence (A.I.), the best era of human civilization. But we still have some shortcomings. In particular, it is still not easy to understand and know the tribal culture of the African continent introduced in this thesis. The African continent where 54 countries are gathered is more difficult to understand because various tribes, languages and various cultures are stratified. Therefore it is necessary to consider the issues of the festival, the rite of passage, the concept of time and the spiritual world at the level of socio-cultural integration appropriate for each tribe's characteristics in order to understand the various tribes of the African continent.
In this context the study of the Siamou tribe, a minority ethnic group of the Republic of Burkina Faso located in the western middle of the African continent is not only of anthropological significance but also has significance in various fields. Especially the Siamou tribe living in the Orodara region of Burkina Faso, West Africa belong to a minority tribe but it is a good example of maintaining social integration through a traditional lifestyle.
Therefore, in this thesis, I would like to consider the traditional culture of the Siamou tribe, the rite of passage and the value system that preserves the tribal identity as a migrant. The Siamou tribe is dominated by their passion for upholding their own tradition, ideology and value system. The traditional culture they have kept for a long time has a deep correlation with the existence of tribal society. Their obligation and responsibility to the tribal community are the basis for survival as a Siamou tribe even in a situation of complete social transformation. I hope that starting with this thesis, research related to the Siamou tribe in the Republic of Burkina Faso will continue in the future and further in-depth research results will come out.
