고령자 중심의 직관적 인터랙티브 기반 앱 인터페이스 디자인 연구 (A study on the Design of App Interface Based on Intuitive Interaction for the Elderly)

초록

모바일 통신 시대에 모바일 인터넷은 일상생활에서 매우 중요한 부분이 되었다. 중국 애플리케이션 시장에서도고령자의 앱 이용률이 크게 증가했다. 그러나 고령층의 특수성으로 인해 스마트폰과 상호작용하는 과정에서 다양한어려움을 겪게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 고령 사용자의 사용률이 가장 높은 3대 쇼핑 앱(핀둬둬, 타오바오, 징둥)을 연구 대상으로 하여 직관적 인터랙티브의 개념과 원칙을 고찰하고 고령자 앱 사용 현황과 문제점, 사용 시고려해야 할 요소를 결합하여 고령자 앱 인터페이스에 적합한 3대 직관적 인터랙티브 원칙(익숙성, 유사성, 일치성)을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 고령자 앱 인터페이스 요소에 대한 사례 분석을 수행하고 사례 분석 결과에따라 고령자 앱 인터페이스의 개선 방향을 제시하였다. 익숙성, 유사성, 일치성 등 세 가지 측면에서 앱인터페이스의 구체적인 개선 방안을 논의하였다. 첫째, 익숙한 기호나 문자를 고령자가 쉽게 불 수 있는 곳에 놓고이전 경험 없는 앱은 고령자의 기존 습관을 기반으로 설계하여 동일 한 유형의 앱에서 기능의 공통점을 찾아 고령자문제점을 발견하여 개선점을 도출하였다. 둘째, 다양한 앱 간 유사한 기능이 다른 앱에서 동일하게 구현되는지검토하고 고령자에게 익숙하고 유사 서비스에 대한 경험이 있는 서비스 기능을 제공하였다. 셋째, 동일한 앱에서 각인터페이스 기능, 위치 및 비주얼 요소를 디자인의 다른 부분과 일치시켜 인터페이스와 기능의 일치성을 증대시켰다.
이러한 개선은 고령자 사용자의 휴대전화 사용률과 현재의 디지털 라이프에 더 잘 통합될 수 있도록 돕게 될 것으로기대하고 있다.

영어초록

In the context of the mobile communication era, mobile internet has become an essential part of daily life. In the China's application market, the usage rate of apps by the elderly has also increased significantly. However, due to the special characteristics of the elderly group, they also appear to encounter various difficulties when interacting with smartphones. Therefore, this study investigates the concepts and principles of the intuitive interaction theory by taking the top three shopping apps (Pinduoduo, Taobao, and Jingdong) with the highest usage rate of elderly users as the research objects, and deduces the three intuitive interaction principles (familiarity, similarity, and consistency) that are suitable for the app interface of elderly users, based on the current situation and problematic points of using apps by elderly users and the key factors to be considered when using them. Based on the results of the case study, we propose the improvement direction of the app interface for the elderly. From the three aspects of familiarity, similarity, and consistency, the specific improvement plan of the app interface is discussed. First, familiar symbols or text are placed in places where elderly can easily see them, applications without previous experience are designed based on elderly' existing habits, and common features are found among the same type of applications to identify problems of elderly and derive improvement points. Secondly, we examine whether similar functions among multiple applications are implemented in the same way in other applications, and provide service functions that are familiar to elderly and have experience with similar services. Third, the consistency of interface and functionality was increased by aligning various facet functions, locations, and visual elements within the same application with the rest of the design. It is hoped that this improvement can increase the mobile phone usage rate of elderly users and help the elderly better integrate into the current digital life.
