초록

Although the structural principle is the same in the space for the fundamental divinity included in the traditional Korean wooden catholic church and Korean masonry catholic church during the modern times, which was built in a three corridor type with clerestory in the general Western catholic church, there exists great heterogeneity between the two architectures in appearance and size due to structural and ideological differences. This study aims at clarifying differences in the spatial expressions of divinity appearing from different structures between masonry catholic churches and traditional Korean catholic churches through comparisons and analyses on the bay unit in nave, which plays an important roles in the structure as well as the most basic unit among components in their interior. Masonry Catholic Church is consist to 1:2 Proportion of width and height of nave And Timber Catholic Church is consist to 1:1 in appearance takes after A square. Consisting of Nave Wall Elevation is timber and Masonry Catholic Church appears at each other similar ratio. There is a large difference, but a basic proportion system to compose a space can take the same thing in scale.
