초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate the work-family conflict (WFC) and depressive trajectory of Korean female baby boomers and to clarify the causal relationship between two variables. For this purpose, this study used the 8th ~ 12th data from the Korean Welfare Panel Study and analyzed the changes in WFC and depression among 636 baby boomers who were born between 1955 and 1963 using a latent growth model. The main results are as follows. First, as a result of unconditional model verification, WFC and depression showed a tendency towards decreasing, and there were individual differences in initial values and rate of change. Second, as a result of the conditional model verification of WFC and depression, the initial WFC value had a significant positive effect on the initial value of depression. In addition, there was also a significant positive effect between the rate of change of WFC and depression, and causality was confirmed. Based on the results of this study, this study discusses practical and policy implications for WFC and depression of prospective baby boomers and provide suggestions for future studies.참고자료
