초록

SooRyoungDam in unofficial history collection was not only a real story but also a fiction interpreted and grasped from a literary standpoint, in which Soo Ryoung appeared as the target of a rumor and a topic. It tried to show public people's life and greed, governmental officials' inclination in local areas, and learned men’s view towards politics. SooRyoung stories related to a public throng are divided into a positive story and a negative one. SooRyoung with a negative mind was greedy and incompetent. Greedy SooRyoung was a kind of thief to get as many offerings as possible and finally retire with a big haul, a satirized glutton whose greed was so extreme as to become a voracious eater, and also a murderer with a desire for power to be increased by ambitious greed by regarding people’s life as a fly’s to heighten his social position. Stories to deal with incompetent SooRyoung were so diverse. There were SooRyoung to enjoy only delicious food without any pursuit and SooRyoung to unable to write declarative sentences to execute his judgement. Stories about them only were satires about a fool. Negative SooRoung stories were thought to criticize unafair political polishes, certifying that they were elected based on injustice and unfair power, even though they possibly roled as people’s parents.
Whereas positive real stories about excellent SooRyoung think of public people as parents, fictional ridiculous stories about SooRyung even try to deal with civil petitions and solve people's anxieties and predicaments at a stroke.
