초록

본 연구의 목적은 중국시장 진출을 고려하고 있는 한국 자동차 부품 제조업체의 경쟁력을 기술요인, 품질요인, 서비스요인으로 구분하고 IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis)를 통해 전략적 대안을 제시하는데 있다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 중국 자동차부품산업에 진출 시 고려해야할 실무적 대안 및 시사점을 제시하였다. 분석결과 중국 시장으로 진출하는 한국 자동차 부품 산업 업체들에 영향을 미치는 경쟁력 결정요인으로는 기술경쟁력과 품질경쟁력인 것으로 분석되었으며, 완성차 업체와의 기술협력 수준, 해외시장에서 판매량, 해외시장에서 광고홍보능력, 브랜드 경쟁력, 영업인력 우수성의 요인은 해당기업들의 당면한 선결과제는 아닌 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 중국시장 진출시 대응 전략을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 한국 자동차부품산업의 기술경쟁력을 바탕으로 생산 및 기술개발에 과감히 투자하고 둘째, 전사적 품질관리 전략을 수립하여 제품불량을 발생시키지 않는 시스템을 구축하고 품질의 보증체계를 확립시켜야 하며 셋째, 중국, 인도, 러시아 등 신흥 자동차 생간국가로 진출하여야 하고, 부품 수출에 주력하여야 한다. 넷째, 한국 자동차 부품산업의 디자인과 품질향상을 바탕으로 자동차부품 브랜드 가치를 높이고 해외 소비자들의 인식을 개선시켜 나가야 하며 다섯째, 한국 자동차 부품산업의 완성차 산업과의 긴밀한 협력, 정부의 지원제도 정비가 이루어져 한다.

영어초록

While the global automobile industry has suffered for a long time from low profits and low growth, the automobile industry in China has achieved high growth both in the high-end and the low-end markets. Given the current situations, the Chinese automobile industry is projected to continue its fast growth. Therefore, The purpose of this study is to analysis competitiveness of Korean automobile part suppliers who are considering overseas expansion to China market. To examine the competitiveness of Korean automobile part industry, technology competitiveness, quality competitiveness, service competitiveness were analyzed by using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) through field survey. The analysis result as followings : In Importance aspect, technology competitiveness is the most important factors such as the size of technology investment, total technology ability with automakers, design ability. In performance aspect, service and technology factors such as sales manpower, brand competitiveness, design ability, total technology ability are important. As a result of IPA, design ability, total technology ability, independent technology ability, the size of technology investment have comparative advantages. however, the level of technology cooperation, total technology ability with automakers, trust, Defect Rate, duration of contract factors revealed as focusing improvement factors. From the above results, some suggestions may be drown. First, the diversification of partnerships with automakers, in which the auto parts manufacturers share their experiences and expertise through various transactions with auto makers, is necessary for steady growth of the Korean auto industry. Governmental support, as well as the strategical approach of the manufacturers, is required in this respect. Second, manufacturers need to expand to overseas and domestic markets for various profit sources by improving technological ability and product diversity. Finally, the export capability of Korean auto parts manufacturers needs to be enhanced through both manufacturers' effort and the governmental support.
