초·중·고등학교 전환기 진로 연계 교육활동 분석 (Analysis of Career-related Educational Activities During The Transition Periods of Elementary·Middle·High Schools)

초록

본 연구에서는 초·중·고 전환기 진로 연계 교육활동 분석을 통해 기반 조성과 교육과정 및 프로그램 지원을 탐색하고자설문지를 개발하여 인천시의 초·중·고등학교 교원 50명을 대상으로 통계 분석하였고, 설문지 통계 분석으로 확인되지않은 부분은 교사, 학생, 학부모 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전환기 진로 연계교육과정의 운영은 학교급 모두 50% 정도이며, 중학교(52.0%)는 교과, 초등학교(35.7%)와 고등학교(77.7%)는 교과와창체 혼합 적용이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전환기 진로 연계 프로그램은 진로·적성을 매우 잘 반영하고있지만, 상급학교 진학을 위한 진로 연계 활동은 학교급별로 모두 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 전환기 진로연계 프로그램 개선을 위한 학교급별 공통으로 교육과정 명시와 교사 연수가 선결과제로 대두되었다. 셋째, 전환기진로 연계 기반 조성을 위해 초·중학교의 학생 및 학부모는 상급학교에 대한 안내를 갈구하였고, 교사에게 교육과정운영 및 매뉴얼은 학교급을 막론하고 필요한 것으로 나타났으며, 재정지원 및 온라인 플랫폼 등의 제도적 지원 등을요구하였다. 넷째, 전환기 진로 연계 교육과정 지원에 있어서 초등학교는 교과와 창체의 조정 시수, 중·고등학교는기말고사 이후 전체이수 시간을 모든 교과에서 운영을 선호하였다. 프로그램 지원은 모든 학교급에서 정서 적응을요구하였고, 초·중학교는 초·중·고 학습 연계 요소가 포함된 활동, 진로 희망학교 탐방 등도 선호하는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 전환기 진로 연계 교육활동 방향성을 제안하였다

This study aimed to explore the establishment of foundations, curriculum, and program support through the analysis of career-linked educational activities during the transition period between elementary, middle, and high schools. We developed a questionnaire and conducted statistical analysis on 50 teachers from elementary, middle, and high schools in Incheon City. For any unknown parts in the questionnaire, interviews were conducted with teachers, students, and parents. The research results are presented as follows: First, the operation of career-linked educational curricula during the transition period was approximately 50% across all school levels. Middle schools(52.0%) showed the highest application of curriculum integration with academic subjects, while elementary schools(35.7%) and high schools(77.7%) showed the highest application of curriculum integration with academic subjects and creative experiential activities. Second, although career-linked programs reflected career exploration and aptitude very well, activities related to advancement to higher-level schools were generally inadequate across all school levels. Therefore, curriculum specification and teacher training were identified as essential prerequisites for improving career-linked programs. Third, to establish a foundation for career-linked activities during the transition period, students and parents from elementary and middle schools sought guidance regarding higher-level schools, and teachers expressed the need for curriculum operation and manuals regardless of the school level. They also demanded financial support and institutional assistance such as online platforms. Fourth, regarding support for career-linked educational curricula, elementary schools preferred adjustments in the duration of academic subjects and creative experiential activities, while middle and high schools preferred the overall duration of activities after final exams. Program support was demanded in terms of socio-emotional adjustment by all school levels, and elementary and middle schools showed a preference for activities that included elements of elementary, middle, and high school learning integration and visits to desired schools. Based on the findings of this study, directions for career-linked educational activities during the transition period were proposed
