류전윈(劉震雲) 소설의 연구 경향과 그 전망 ―학위논문을 중심으로― (Research trends and prospects for Liu Zhenyun's novels: Focusing on thesis)

초록

본 연구에서는 지금까지 진행된 류전윈 소설 연구의 연구사를 분석 정리하고 그 경향을 검토하였다. 현재까지 학위논문을 통한 류전윈 소설의 연구 현황을 종합해 보면 다음과 같다. 인물 연구는 주로 소인물과 대인물로 이원화하여 소인물의 생존상황을 조명한 연구가 주류를 이루며, 지식인 서사와 지식인의 사회적 양심과 책무를 연관시켜 진행한 연구, 그리고 민족의 희망으로서의 외할머니(姥娘)에 대한 연구도 많았다. 류전윈 소설 연구에서 비중이 높은 주제 연구 중, ‘권력’과 ‘인성’은 류전윈의 작품을 이해하는 데 중요한 핵심어로 많은 연구자에 의해 꾸준히 연구되고 있다. ‘말’ 시리즈 연구는 비교적 늦게 시작되었는데, ‘소통’과 ‘중국인의 고독’에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있었다. 서사기법은 꾸준히 연구되는 분야로, 주로 포스트모더니즘 요소가 풍부한 고향시리즈 소설의 ‘유머’와 ‘블랙유머’와 ‘擰巴(닝바)’ 등을 통한 예술성, 그리고 유머 이면에 숨어있는 지식인의 비판의식이 꾸준히 연구되고 있다. 최근에는 ‘중복(重複)’에 관한 연구도 조금씩 많아지고 있다. 류전윈 소설 연구사의 전반적 흐름을 보면, 초기에는 권력과 고향을 제재로 한 신사실소설과 신역사소설이 주로 연구되었으며, 21세기에 들어 ‘말’ 시리즈 연구가 시작되었으며, ≪만 마디를 대신하는 말 한마디≫의 수상과 ≪나는 남편을 죽이지 않았다≫의 발표로 ‘말’과 ‘소통’에 대한 연구가 가파르게 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 여성의 운명에 주목한 소설 창작으로 최근 여성 인물의 사회적 처지 및 대우에 대한 연구가 진행되기도 했다. 문학은 사회를 반영한다. 중국인의 고독 문제처럼 현대 중국이 당면한 사회문제 해부와 문학의 사회적 역할을 결합한 연구는 향후 꾸준히 늘어날 것으로 예측된다.

This study have analyzed and summarized the research history on Liu Zhenyun's novels that has been conducted so far and examine its trend.
A summary of the research status of Liu Zhenyun's novels through the dissertations to date is as follows. Character studies are mainly divided into minor characters and major characters, and their main focus is on research that explores the survival situations of minor characters, There are also many other studies linking intellectuals' narratives with intellectuals' social conscience and duties, as well as studies on maternal grandmothers (姥娘) as the hope of the nation, Especially “Power” and “humanity” that are highly important topics in the study of Liu Zhenyun's novels are constantly being studied by many researchers because they are important key words for understanding Liu Zhenyun's works, Research on the “Speaking and communication” series has begun relatively late, However a lot of research on “communication” and “Chinese loneliness” are being conducted. Narrative technique is also a field that has constantly been being studied, Especially the artistry appeared in “Humor”, “Black humor”, and “Ningba(擰巴)” of the hometown series novels which are rich in postmodern elements, is being studied. Recently a lot of research on “Repetition” has also been conducted.
When looking at the overall trend of Liu Zhenyun's novel research history, “New realistic novels” and “New historical novels” that were based on power and hometown were mainly studied in the early days, The research on the “Speaking and communication” series began in the 21st century. The research trend on “Speaking” and “communication” increased sharply with the award of “Someone to Talk To” and the announcement of the “I Did Not Kill My Husband”, More recently, the social condition and treatment of female characters has been studied through the creation of novels that focus on the fate of women.
Literature is a reflection of society. Research that combines the dissection of social issues facing contemporary China, such as Chinese loneliness, with the social role of literature can be expected to grow steadily in the future. In addition, in light of recent research trends in academia, fusion research and interdisciplinary research are expected to gradually increase.
