코로나19 시대에 따른 태권도학과 실기수업 온라인 강의 제작⋅운영에 대한 문제점과 개선방안 (Problems and Their Improvement Measures in the Making and Management of Online Lectures for the Major Practice Course of Taekwondo Department in the COVID-19 Era)

초록

이 연구는 코로나19 시대에 따른 태권도학과 실기수업 온라인 강의 제작ㆍ운영에 대한 문제점과 개선방안을 살펴보고자 4년제 대학교 태권도학과 실기수업을 맡은 시간강사 5명을 의도적 표본추출에 따라 선정하여 반구조화된 면담을 진행하였고 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 코로나19로 실기수업 비대면 온라인 강의가 실시되면서 온라인 강의 제작ㆍ운영은 시간강사의 몫으로 전가되어 비대면 수업 초기 강의를 제작하는 방법적인 면에서 많은 문제점이 있었다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 시간강사 스스로 실기수업내용이 아닌 수업 운영 방법에 대해 만족하지 못하였다. 둘째, 실기수업 영상촬영을 할 수 있는 마땅한 장소와 다양한 촬영 장비가 없다는 것이 온라인 강의 제작에 있어 큰 문제점으로 작용했으며, 영상촬영은 대부분 휴대폰으로 이루어졌다. 셋째, 실기수업 특성상 학생들과 실시간 온라인 강의를 진행할 수 없었으며, 학생들과의 소통이 즉각적이고 원활하게 이루어지지 못하는 문제점이 있었다.

영어초록

Under the goal of investigating problems in the making and management of online lectures for the major practice course of Taekwondo Department in the COVID-19 era and exploring their improvement measures, this study selected five part-time instructors that were tasked with the major practice course of Taekwondo Department in a four-year university through purposive sampling and conducted a semi-structured interview with them. The findings were as follows: First, non-contact online lectures were introduced for the practice course after the outbreak of COVID-19, which left part-time instructors with the burden of making and managing online lectures. They experienced a lot of difficulties with the methods of making non-contact online lectures at the initial stage. The part-time instructors themselves were not satisfied with their methods of running a lecture rather than the content of their practice lessons itself. Secondly, the biggest difficulty that they faced in the course of making online lectures was no availability of proper places and various shooting devices to videotape practice lessons. Most of videotaping was done with their smartphones. Thirdly, they were not able to give their students online lectures in real time due to the characteristics of practice lessons and had difficulties with communicating with their students in an instant and smooth manner. Finally, when asked about improvement measures for their online lectures, the part-time instructors wanted the school to provide places to videotape their practice lessons and also various education and supports for the methods of making an online lecture. They also raised a need for a devoted department or professionals to offer them assistance as they faced problems or difficulties with making an online lecture.
