해체주의 건축 프랭크 게리 작품의 디자인 특징을응용한 업스타일 디자인연구 - 작품 제 작을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Up-Style Design Applying the Design Characteristics of Works by Frank Gehry for Deconstructivist Architecture - Focusing on Works -)

초록

As the representative buildings of deconstructivism, Frank Gehry's works could be combined with up-style hair design to produce works. This study produced total four up-style works based on the theoretical consideration of preceding researches, relevant theses, and internet data of Frank Gehry's works and up-style. The results are like below. The first work applied Guggenheim musum. The small masses of the building were solidly expressed by applying the loop technique after making panels with hair bundles to express the movement and continuity of the shape organically combined just like the overlapped center, which suggested the gorgeousness and possibility of modern beauty. The second work applied Nationale Nederlanden Building.
Emphasizing the activated texture and expressing movement of a twisted rectangular tower just looking like moving through basket braid and loop technique, the possibility of a dynamic style was suggested. The third work applied Las Vegas Lou Ruvocent for Brain Health. The high-tech modernity and dynamics of wrinkle were expressed through basket braid on the face line. Emphasizing the characteristics of the building by using metal accessory, the intellectual charm and elegance were expressed.
The fourth work applied Hotel Marques de riscal winery. Its collage technique and the continual movement line fully show the characteristics of Gehry's formative characteristics. The aesthetic effect of asymmetrical diagonal structure was increased by using loop technique, which suggested the possibility of a style for hair show or fashion show. This study is expected to observe more works expressing the formative characteristics of diverse designs, and also to continuously have researches on creative up-style designs in the future.
