익선동 한옥의 외부형태 리노베이션 구성요소 분석을 통한 가로환경 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Changes in the Street Environment through the Analysis of External Renovation Component Analysis of Ikseon-dong Hanok)

초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 본 연구 논문은 종로구 익선동의 리노베이션 한옥을 대상으로 연구한 논문으로 리노베이션 한옥의 외부요소를 분석해 전통한옥의 개선점을 도출하는 동시에 현대한옥의 분류, 분석 틀을 새롭게 정립하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 본격적인 개보수가 이루어지는 시점인 2014년을 기점으로 리노베이션 한옥을 분류, 분석해보고 이를 통해 변화를 보이고 있는 가로 특성이 무엇인지를 알 수 있다. 이는 한옥의 전통적인 내,외부공간을 통하여 각각 전통과 현대라는 시대적인 관점에서 다시해석되어 개보수된 익선동을 바라보고 공간과 가로환경 이미지에 대한 고찰 계기가 된다. (연구방법) 이론적 고찰을 통해 전통한옥과 리노베이션 한옥을 알아보고 익선동의 상업화 과정과 함께 한옥에서 나타나는 특징적 요소를 도출한다. 도출한 12가지요소에 접목 가능한 리노베이션의 유형을 분류하는 기준 틀을 가지고 한옥의 개념과 구조, 그에 따른 특성을 분류한다. 리노베이션 한옥 중 상업공간에 해당하는 72곳을 모집단으로 설정하고 앞서 분류한 요소들의 재료, 입면형태, 색채변화, 평면구성 등 유형변화가 이루어진 새로운 틀에 맞추어 분류, 분석한다. (결과) 본 연구를 통해 익선동 리노베이션 한옥 상업공간에서 뚜렷하게나타나는 변화양상은 재료구성과 색채에서 극명히 대비되는 높은 비율을 보였다. 보, 서까래, 기둥의 기본 골조는 유지하고 벽체의 리모델링을 통한 색채와 공간구획, 그리고 창호와 문의 유리화와 바닥의 재료 변화가 대부분이다. 이를 통해 1.마당의 내실화, 2.기단의 보존/리노베이션 여부, 3.기둥, 서까래, 보, 지붕 등 기본 구조의 보존 여부, 4.내부 가구의 재료가 조화되는지 여부, 5.
외벽/내벽의 공간구획은 방문객들이 ‘한옥 리노베이션’이라고 인지할 수 있는 범주에 영향을 미치는 가장 큰 요소다. (결론) 종로구 익선동에 위치한 리노베이션 한옥 외부형태의 구성요소들을 분석하는 것은 ‘한옥’이 지속되는 과정을 연구하는 것이다. 익선동의 한옥 리노베이션으로 한국 전통건축인 ‘한옥’이 시대를 달리하여 구조나 형태, 공간구성, 재료, 색채 등의 변화에있어서 어느 정도까지 원형을 유지하고 변화를 수용해야 하는지 파악해볼 수 있다. 상업적 부가가치가 가능한 건축을 통해 지속가능한 한옥의 리노베이션을 위해서 건축의 재생으로서의 리노베이션에 대한 관심과 노력이 필요하며, 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는거버넌스 체계 구축이 필요할 것이다.

영어초록

(Background and Purpose) This research thesis is a study on the renovation hanok in Ikseon-dong, Jongno-gu.
Therefore, starting from 2014, when the full-scale renovation took place, the renovated hanok was classified and analyzed, and through this, it is possible to know what street characteristics are showing changes. This is an opportunity to look at Ikseon-dong, which has been renovated and reinterpreted from the perspective of the times, tradition and modernity, through the traditional interior and exterior spaces of hanok, and to consider the image of space and street environment.
(Method) Through theoretical consideration, traditional hanok and renovated hanok are recognized, and characteristic elements appearing in hanok along with the commercialization process of Ikseon-dong are drawn. With a frame of reference for classifying the types of renovation that can be applied to the 12 elements derived, the concept and structure of hanok and its characteristics are classified. Among the renovated hanok, 72 places that correspond to commercial spaces are set as the population, and the previously classified elements are classified and analyzed according to a new framework in which typological changes such as material, elevation shape, color change, and planar composition have been made. (Results) Through this study, the distinct aspects of change in the commercial space of the renovated hanok in Ikseon-dong showed a high rate of stark contrast in material composition and color. The basic framework of beams, rafters, and columns is maintained, and colors and space divisions through wall remodeling, glazing of windows and doors, and changes in floor materials are mostly used. (Conclusions) Analyzing the components of the external form of the renovated hanok located in Ikseon-dong, Jongno-gu is to study the process of continuing the 'hanok'. With the Hanok renovation in Ikseon-dong, it is possible to figure out how far the original form should be maintained and accommodated in changes in structure, form, space composition, material, color, etc., as 'Hanok', a traditional Korean architecture, changes in different eras. For sustainable renovation of hanok through architecture capable of commercial added value, interest and effort in renovation as a regeneration of architecture is required, and a governance system that can support this will be required.
