초록

AI의 출현은 다양한 분야에서 큰 변화를 불러오게 되었다. 특히 생성형 AI는 텍스트, 이미지, 영상 및 기타 미디어를 생성할 수 있는 인공지능으로, 새로운 콘텐츠를 만드는 데 초점을 둔 인공지능 분야이다. 최근 Dall-e, Mid jorney등 이미지 생성 AI는 현실과 차이가 없는 기술로 인해 광고, 예술 분야에도 사용되지만, 텍스트를 통한 이미지, 영상, 기타 미디어를 생성할 수 있다. 프로그램 Photoshop Beta와 Firefly는 일반인들이 추가적인 교육이나 설명 없이 기존의 이미지에서 새로운 이미지로 전환이 가능하다. 이에 본 연구는 두 프로그램의 AI 이미지 생성 기능을 이용해 헤어디자인 툴로 적용해 보았다. 평면으로 이루어진 2D 이미지 내의 헤어스타일에 해당하는 부분의 영역을 선택하고, 생성형 AI에 이미지 생성 관련 정보 전달 방법인 Prompt를 통해 ‘long hair’, ‘perm’, ‘model’ 등 헤어스타일에 관련된 내용을 입력하여 이미지 내의 인물의 헤어스타일만 변화시켰다. 연구 결과 이미지는 커트, 펌, 염색으로 하나의 2D 이미지를 길이별로 연출하여 쇼트커트부터 장발 커트, 단발 펌부터 장발 웨이브와 길이별 염색 이미지에 관한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 특히 염색의 경우 비슷한 색상이어도 채도와 명도를 조절하여 진행할 수 있어 실제 고객에게 진행하는 경우 고객 맞춤형으로 상담하는 데 있어 도움이 될 것으로 보인다. 연구 결과는 기존 이미지의 헤어 길이에 상관없이 다양한 헤어스타일을 연출하는 결과가 도출될 것으로 보이며, 이는 고객에게 제공받은 이미지를 원하는 헤어스타일로 변형시키고 그것을 토대로 상담하는 데 효과적일 것으로 예상된다. 나이가, 이를 헤어디자인 기술로 적용한다면 고객이 다양한 시술 결과를 예측하고 시뮬레이션하는 데에 긍정적인 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 시술자는 고객에게 맞춤형 상담을 제공할 수 있으며, 고객이 원하는 스타일과 시술자가 추천하는 스타일이 다른 경우에도 그 예시를 이미지로 제시함으로써 고객이 만족할 수 있는 헤어스타일을 제안할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The advent of AI has brought about great changes in various fields. In particular, generative AI is an AI field that focuses on creating new content, as it can generate text, images, videos, and other media. Recently, image-generating AI such as Dall-e and Mid jorney are used in advertising and art fields due to their technology that is no different from reality, but they can generate images, videos, and other media through text. The programs Photoshop Beta and Firefly allow the general public to convert existing images into new images without additional training or explanation. Therefore, this study applied the AI ​​image generation function of the two programs to a hair design tool. The area corresponding to the hairstyle in the 2D image made of a plane was selected, and the information related to the hairstyle such as ‘long hair’, ‘perm’, and ‘model’ was input through Prompt, a method of transmitting image generation-related information to the generative AI, thereby changing only the hairstyle of the person in the image. As a result of the study, the image was produced as a single 2D image by length with cuts, perms, and dyes, and the results were obtained regarding images of short cuts to long hair cuts, short perms to long hair waves, and dyed images by length. Especially in the case of dyeing, since it is possible to adjust the saturation and brightness even for similar colors, it seems that it will be helpful in providing customized consultations to actual customers. The research results are expected to produce results that can create various hairstyles regardless of the hair length of the existing image, and this is expected to be effective in transforming the image provided to the customer into the desired hairstyle and providing consultations based on that. If Age applies this to hair design technology, it can be expected to have a positive effect on customers predicting and simulating various treatment results. In addition, the therapist can provide customized consultations to the customer, and even when the style desired by the customer and the style recommended by the therapist are different, it is expected that the therapist will be able to suggest a hairstyle that the customer will be satisfied with by presenting an example as an image.
