재한 중국 유학생의 진로개발역량 교육요구도 분석 (An Analysis of Education Needs on Career Competency for students studying abroad in Korea)

초록

대학생 시기에 성공적인 진로 발달은 진로뿐만 아니라 생애 전반에 걸쳐 직⦁간접적인 영향을 미치게 되나 외국인 유학생들의 진로 역량을 높이기 위한 차별화된 교육과정이나 프로그램은 미비한 상황이며, 관련한 연구 결과물도 많지 않다. 본 연구는 대학 재학 중국인 유학생들을 대상으로 진로 역량 교육 요구를 분석함으로써, 중국 유학생을 위해 개발해야 할 진로 역량의 우선순위를 파악하여 외국인 유학생의 진로 교육에 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산지역의 대학 재학 중국 유학생을 227명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 선행연구를 기초하여 중국 유학생의 특성을 반영하도록 중국 유학생 면담 등을 통해 다양한 의견을 수렴하여 연구 도구를 개발하였다. 최종문항의 문항내적일관성신뢰도(Cronbach's α) 는 .94로 높게 나타났다. 중국 유학생이 인식하는 진로개발역량 개발에 필요한 요소의 중요도와 실행도 간 차이를 분석하기 위해서 전체 및 하위영역에 대한 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였으며, t-test를 실시하였다. 진로개발역량의 영역별 각 항목에 대한 요구도의 우선순위를 파악하기 위해 Borich 계수를 산정하고, The Locus For Focus 모델 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, '자기이해' 역량을 제외하고 모든 역량은 실행도 수준은 중요도 수준에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 낮게 나타났다. 전체 요구도의 우선순위는 '직무수행능력', '서류작성 능력', '의사결정능력' 순으로 나타났다. 장기적으로 의미 있는 진로 성공보다 노동시장으로의 이행이라는 단기적 진로 교육이 더 필요하고 개인 맞춤형 진로지도가 필요하다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to provide implications by analyzing the career competency education needs of Chinese international students in college, by identifying the priorities of competencies, educational contents, and educational methods to be developed for Chinese international students. To this end, a survey was conducted targeting 227 Chinese students studying at universities in Busan. Based on previous studies, research tools were developed by gathering various opinions through interviews with Chinese students to reflect the characteristics of Chinese students. The intra-item consistency reliability (Cronbach's α) of the final question was high at .94. In order to analyze the difference between the importance and execution level of the elements required for career competency development recognized by Chinese students, the average and standard deviation for the entire and subdomains were calculated, and a t-test was conducted. The Borich coefficient was calculated and The Locus For Focus model was analyzed to identify the priority of the demand for each item of career competency. It was confirmed that there was a significant difference according to the experience of participating in career education of international students, and additional analyzes of the Borich demand by group and The Locus For Focus model were conducted. Finally, a basic statistical analysis was conducted on the career career competency education activity method.As a result of the study, first, in all areas except for the 'self-understanding' area, the level of execution was statistically significantly lower than the level of importance. Second, the priority of the overall requirements was in the order of 'ability to perform duties', 'ability to prepare documents', and 'ability to make decisions'. Third, according to the experience of career competency education, there was a difference in the order of educational needs. Therefore, for Chinese students, short-term career education such as transition to the labor market is more needed than long-term meaningful career success, and personalized career guidance is needed.
