중학생의 성학대인식과 대처능력에 관한 연구 (A study on Adolescent’s sexual abuse perception and revealing intention)

초록

이 연구는 공공사회복지 연구에서 상대적으로 소홀히 다루어져온 청소년들의 성학대 인식과 대처능력을 이전(가해자 중심의 연구)과 다른 새로운 패러다임으로 살펴보았다. 이 연구에서는 청소년들 스스로가 성학대 인식을 구성하고, 성학대시 대처하는 능력에도 사회 구조와 담론이 작용할 것으로 보고 여기에 작용하는 여러 가지 변인들을 분석했다.
분석결과 대체로 사회취약계층인 여자, 결손가정, 부모수입이 낮은 학생일수록 성학대의 인식이나 대처능력이 떨어졌다. 사회취약계층이 여러 가지 사회적인 권력과 담론질서에 의해 규율되어 성학대라는 압박이나 권리침해 시 대응이 취약한 것으로 해석된다. 인구학적속성과 청소년의 성지식 구성에는 관계가 없었다. 이 연구는 청소년의 성학대에 대한 인식과 대처능력을 사회구조적 측면에서 살펴보면서, 피해자를 중심으로 근원적인 원인을 분석해 내었다는데 의의를 가진다. 이에 따라 청소년 성학대 방지와 예방대책에 대한 현실적인 함의를 제공한다. 특히, 성학대의 취약계층인 여성과 빈곤청소년들을 중심으로 한 성학대 예방프로그램 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.

영어초록

This study examined Adolescent’s perception of sexual abuses and their ability to handle problems, which seemed to be relatively de-emphasized in the social welfare research areas, on the basis of social constructivism. this study was made on the basis of the social constructivism to understand their individuality and living environment and to thereby examine how Adolescent’s might construct knowledges on sexual abuses and how they might cope with sexual abuses. In particular, focused on the main theory of this study, the order ruled by social power and discourses, this study looked closely into how Adolescent’s from the socially vulnerable poor group might acquire their knowledge and ability to deal with child sexual abuses. As a result, it was found that social vulnerable groups such as women, students from families having single parent or having lower income students had lower perception of sexual abuses and ability to handle sexually sensitive problems. There was no significant relationship between demographic attributes and Adolescent’s knowledge about sex. this study is believed meaningful as the underlying causes of Adolescent sexual abuses were investigated in the center of victims by examining the Adolescent’s perception of sexual abuses and their ability to cope with the problems in terms of social structural aspects. Accordingly, it may provide realistic implications for setting up prevention activities against Adolescent sexual abuses and for taking active protection measures for victims of sex crimes. In particular, the results of this study are believed to help to set up sexual abuse prevention programs focused on those poor Adolescent’s, belonging to weak groups in society, particularly vulnerable to sexual abuses.
