현대시에 나타난 금강산 시편 연구 (Mt. Geumgang psalms research that appeared in Contemporary Poetry)

초록

본고는 현대 금강산 시편에 대한 양상과 의미를 살피는 것이 목적이다. 이 글을 통해 현대문학사의 일제강점기 시대에서 현대에 이르기까지 금강산을 탐방한 시인들의 시를 통해 금강산이 민족의 성산이라는 사실을 발견했다. 살펴본 시인들의 시편에는 분단 이전과 이후에 걸쳐 금강산이 부재한 조국의 숨결과 민족분단의 아픔을 간직한 그리움의 대상으로 존재하고 있다.
금강산에 관한 연구는 고전과 현대로 나눌 수 있으며 고전문학에서부터 활성화되었다. 그것은 18세기경 금강산을 중심으로 한 고전 시가나 시화로부터 시작되었다. 명승지 여행에 대한 시적 묘사 속에는 금강산의 진경과 함께 진경시와 진경시화로 나타난다.
현대문학에서는 고전문학에 비하여 상대적으로 금강산 연구가 시작 단계에 있다. 현대적 관점에서 금강산에 관한 연구는 분단 후 금강산 관련 자료를 대상으로 파악했다. 거기에 1998년 금강산개발과 관광산업으로서 연구가 진행되면서 현대문학에서도 본격적으로 관심을 기울이기 시작했다.
본고에서 주목한 전근대 이행과정과 현대에 이르기까지 금강산에 관한 시편은 강점기와 분단기를 중심으로 간헐적으로 편성되어 있다. 백두산과 달리 금강산 시편에 관한 연구가 없다는 것은 금강산을 소재로 한 텍스트의 부재에서 온다. 동시에 상대적으로 남북 분단 이후 금강산이 남한의 생활권역이 아니라는 점에 있다. 그렇지만 시대적 전개 과정에서 금강산 기행을 한 문인들 사이에서 금강산 시편이 창작되어왔는바, 이에 근현대시에 나타난 금강산 시편을 살피는 것은, 암흑의 시대를 통해 역사의 미래를 조망하는 일이다.
살펴본 시인들은 금강산 여행을 통해 각자 처한 시대에 따라서 금강산 시 세계가 변모하는 패러다임을 가진다는 사실이다. 이를 위해 텍스트 시편들과 시대성을 매개로 두드러진 시 의식을 세 가지 연구방법으로 탐구했다. 첫째 상징적 영속성과 불교성, 둘째 향토적 친화성과 상호 텍스트성, 셋째 금강산 기행과 영토성 등이 그것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the aspect and meaning of the modern Mt. Geumgang psalms. Through this sentence, I discovered the fact that Mt. Geumgang is a folk holy mountain through the poems of poets who explored Mt. Geumgang from the time of the Japanese Emperor's occupation to the present day in the history of modern literature. In the psalms of the poets examined, it exists as a nostalgic object with the breath of the homeland and the pain of ethnic division where Mt. Geumgang was absent before and after the division.
The research on Mt. Geumgang was divided into classical and modern, and was activated from classical literature. It began with the classical poems and poems centered on Mt. Geumgang around the 18th century. In the poetic depiction of a trip to a scenic spot, it appears as a story of at the time of the true scenery along with the view of Mt. Geumgang.
In contemporary literature, Mt. Geumgang research is relatively in its infancy compared to classical literature. From a modern point of view, the research on Mt. Geumgang was grasped from the materials related to Mt. Geumgang after the division. In 1998, research was carried out as the development of Mt. Geumgang and the tourism industry, and it began to pay full attention to contemporary literature.
The psalms on Mt. Geumgang from the pre-modern implementation process and the present day that we focused on in this paper are intermittently organized around the period of colonial and the divider. Unlike Mt. Baekdu, the lack of research on Mt. Geumgang psalms comes from the absence of texts made from Mt. Geumgang. At the same time, Mt. Geumgang has not been a living area of South Korea since the north-south division. However, although the Mt. Geumgang psalms has been created among the writers who traveled to Mt. Geumgang in the process of historical development, examining the Mt. Geumgang psalms that appeared in the modern and contemporary poetry is to look at the future of history through the dark ages.
It is the fact that the poets seen have a paradigm in which the world of Mt. Geumgang poetry changes according to the era they are in through their trip to Mt. Geumgang. To this end, three research methods were used to explore the prominent poetry consciousness through textual psalms and epochality. The first is symbolic permanence and Buddhism, the second is local affinity and mutual text, and the third is Mt. Geumgang travelogue and territoriality.
