梁方仲 誕辰 100周年 중국사회경제사 국제학술토론회 및 廣東省 역사유적 답사에 관한 보고 (The Report on the Participation in the International Conference Cerebrating Liang Fangzhong's 100th Birthday and on the Actual Survey of the historic Scenes of Guangdong Province)

The year 2008 was a pioneer of Chinese social and economic history, Liang Fangzhong's hundredth birthday. He accumulated stores of studies on the social and economic history of the Ming Dynasty. His masterpiece was the study on Yitiaobianfa that was the tax system at that times. In memory of him, Chinese Economic History Society, the Department of History at Sun Yat-sen University, and the Department of History at Tsinghua University held jointly an international conference in Guangzhou, China on November 19-21 2008. More than 100 scholars came from Korea, China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Japan, America, England and Australia, and 58 treatises were published at that conference. On November 21, the highlight of the conference, the sectional meetings were held. The subject matters of sectional meetings were compulsory labor systems, agricultural productions and the production of handicraft, family register systems and land systems, fiscal policies, money and banking, social life, documents and social economy, state and society, international trade, theories of the social and economic history, markets and circulation, and prices and society. Here, we summarize 12 treatises of them.
On the other hand, we explored the historic scenes of Guangdong Province(Canton) on November 19-24. During the period, we debated about the linguistic and cultural characters of Guangdong and the identity and the revolutionary spirit of Guangdong. The scenes that we had visited were the Beijing Street(Beijinglu), Haizhu Huangpu Ancient Times Harbor Landscape Area(Huangpugugang), Huangpu Village (Huangpucun), The Hong Xiuquan Memorial(Hongxiuquanjinianguan), The House of Hong Xiuquan's birth(Hongxiuquanguju), Shamian Guangzhou, the 623 Monument(Shajicananjinianbei), Lin Zexu Memorial in Humen(Linzexujinianguan), Sea Battle Museum(Haizhanbowuguan), The Site of Humen Battery(Humenpaotai), Guangzhou Patriots Cemetery(Guangzhouqiyilieshilingyuan), and Sanyuanli anti-England Monument(Sanyuanlikangyingjinianbei) and Sanyuanli Village (Sanyuanlicun).
