초록

목적: 2015 개정 초등학교 체육과 교육과정 동작도전 학습내용을 분석하여 동작도전의 교육적 가치와 효과를 이해하고 예비교사들이 교육과정을 효율적으로 운영할 수 있도록 정보를 제공하는데 있다.
방법: 연구의 대상은 B광역시 교육청 소속 교사 4명, B교육대학교 예비교사 4명을 대상으로 비확률적표집방법 중 유목적 표집방법을 활용하였다. 측정도구는 교과서, 교사용지도서, 교육과정 총론 그리고 심층면담을활용하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였으며, 연구결과의 신뢰성과 타당성을 높이기 위해 삼각검증법, 연구참여자와 연구자간 검토, 감사추척 방법을 활용하였다.
결과: 초등학교 4학년 체육과 교육과정 분석 결과 경쟁(22.3%), 도전(20.2%), 건강(18.3%), 표현(16.6%) 그리고 안전(14.6%)순서로 구성되어 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 20.2%의 도전영역 중 동작도전의 학습내용은 무려 18.4%로나타나 도전 영역에서 동작도전의 학습 중요도는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 동작도전 수업은 교사들의 수업부담으로 잘 운영되지 않고 있으며, 이를 위한 대안으로 예비교사 선발 시 학창시절 체육활동 경험 반영, 예비교사의책무성 강화, 유능한 교사양성을 위한 지원, 체육교과 전담제 도입 그리고 교육실습학기제 운영 등으로 나타났다.
결론: 동작도전은 국가수준의 교육과정으로 학교현장이 아니면 경험하기 힘든 교육내용이기 때문에 건강, 도전, 경쟁, 표현 그리고 안전 5가지 학습 영역이 균형적으로 운영되어야 한다. 특히 교사는 교육과정의 실행자이자안내자로서 어려움 없이 체육과 교육과정을 운영할 수 있도록 국가차원에서의 다양한 노력과 지원이 필요하다.

영어초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand the educational value and effects of movement challenge by analyzing the movement challenge learning content of the 2015 revised elementary school physical education curriculum and to provide information so that prospective teachers can efficiently operate the curriculum.
Method: The subjects of the study were 4 teachers from Metropolitan Office of Education B and 4 prospective teachers from University of Education B, and a purposive sampling method among non-probability sampling methods was used. Data were collected and analyzed using textbooks, teacher guides, curriculum overviews, and in-depth interviews as measurement tools.
To increase the reliability and validity of the research results, the triangulation method, Member checking and audit trail methods were used.
Results: As a result of analyzing the 4th grade elementary school curriculum, it was found to be composed of competition (22.3%), challenge (20.2%), health (18.3%), expression (16.6%), and safety (14.6%), with 20.2% challenge. Among the areas, the learning content of movement challenges was as much as 18.4%, showing that the importance of learning movement challenges was high. In particular, movement challenge classes are not being operated due to the teaching burden on teachers. As an alternative to this, when selecting prospective teachers, reflect the experience of physical activities during school days, strengthen the accountability of prospective teachers, support for training competent teachers, introduce a system dedicated to physical education, and provide education. It appeared through the operation of the practical training semester system.
Conclusion: Movement Challenge is a national-level curriculum that is difficult to experience outside of school, so the five learning areas of health, challenge, competition, expression, and safety must be operated in a balanced manner. In particular, teachers, as executors and guides of the curriculum, need various efforts and support at the national level so that they can run the physical education curriculum without difficulty.
