초록

This research tried to make their categories possible by deepening the laughter and cry of Madanggeuk in Korean aesthetic category. This research wants to prepare a clear ground that Madanggeuk is joining in a settled formality of Korean aesthetic category by introducing the blended aspects of laughter and cry in Madanggeuk.
The aesthetic basis of Madanggeuk that makes aesthetic category theory possible is creating a model as spiritual value and as artistic form up to now by being the product of co-aesthetic consciousness like a traditional play.
This studied the aesthetic consciousness of laughter by dividing into a mask, dialect witty talk, deformed gesturing and sexual harassment, the mediation aspects causing laughter in Madanggeuk. Also, this considered the aesthetic consciousness of laughter by analyzing the aggressive friendly strategy and the type of laughter. And this studied by dividing the discrimination and characteristics after dividing into the double representation aspect of darkness and lightness of cry and the emotional conversions and types of crying in the aesthetic consciousness of the cry of Madanggeuk.
This manuscript studied the attributes by subdividing the aggressive friendly strategy and the type of laughter into revelation, exaggeration, disparagement, variation, distortion and usurpation.
The research about the cry aesthetic consciousness of Madanggeuk analyzed how the double representation aspects of the darkness and the bright of the cry appear in the scene of death and breakup, and analyzed in emotional conversion and the type the cry phenomenon for confusion, a dispute and poverty in Madanggeuk.
The breakup in Madanggeuk shows laughter outside and cry inside by refracting humorously the pathetic situation differently from the realistic situation. And it uses the expression replacing with laughter after pulling a person model ceaselessly though the cry also appearing to death is a sad situation.
As examining up to now, the laughter and the cry in Madanggeuk has enough the possibility as Korean aesthetic category. In particular, the humor and the satire of Madanggeuk makes an actual proof possible more and more because its generation itself first is the core case of laughter. In this thesis, it proved that ‘laughter outside and cry inside’, the aesthetic complex body of the comedy and tragedy as Korean aesthetic category, is being spread to Madanggeuk.
The introspection as Korean aesthetic category on Madanggeuk was tried out and progressed for the first time in this research. So, I think that a discussion development and various attempts as an aesthetic category will be progressed in the future by giving a beginning in Madanggeuk research.
