초록

이 연구는 고전문학 작품의 능동적 수용을 위한 방법으로 가치 탐구의 수행을 제언하고, 사설시조 <이제ᄂᆞᆫ 못 보게도>를 대상으로 가치 탐구의 실현태와 작동 구조를 탐색하는 것을 주된 내용으로 한다. 텍스트 세계가 제기하는 문제사태와 대응 방식에 대한 가치 탐구의 수행을 통해 능동적인 문학 수용을 도모하고자 한 것이다. 그동안 민족과 공동체라는 의미망 속에서 전통으로의 입문을 위해 특정한 가치로 정향된 고전문학 교육에 대한 대안의 모색인 것이다.
2장에서는 능동적 수용의 방법론으로 기존의 공감 대신 가치 탐구를 제언하고, 고전시가의 가치 탐구 조건을 탐색하였다. 가치 탐구는 인물과 화자의 행동, 태도에 대한 평가와 판단, 대안의 마련을 수행하는 수용자의 활동 전반을 가리키는 것으로, 텍스트 세계의 능동적 수용을 위한 기제가 될 수 있다. 고전시가 또한 문제사태에 대한 의미있는 대응 방식을 담는 세계이며, 가치 탐구를 통해 수용자는 이러한 세계에 참여하는 가운데 자신의 가치 체계를 개방하고 조정하는 활동을 수행하게 된다.
3장에서는 <이제ᄂᆞᆫ 못 보게도>의 변이형을 대상으로 능동적 수용의 실제 구현 양상을 확인하고, 그 기제로 주체의 가치 탐구가 작동하고 있음을 밝혔다. 다양한 변이형의 존재가 곧 수용자의 가치 탐구 수행에 따른 능동적인 참여의 표지에 해당한다고 보고 실현 양상을 살폈다.
이를 바탕으로 4장에서는 능동적 수용을 위한 가치 탐구 수행의 작동 구조를 도출하였다. 먼저, 가치 탐구를 위해 텍스트 경험의 조건으로, ‘보편적 문제사태와 특수한 대응 방식의 길항’을 통해 삶과 세계에 대한 새로운 성찰과 조망을 이끌어냈다. 가치 탐구의 동기화 조건으로 감정의 가치소에 주목하고, 보편적인 감정이 가치 탐구를 자극․매개하는 요인으로 작동한다는 점을 밝혔다. 가치 탐구의 작동 기제로 문학적 상상력에 주목하고, 타자에 대한 이해와 자신의 관점을 넘어서는 실천적, 목적론적 기능을 탐색하였다. 이어 가치 평가에 관여하는 제요소를 중심으로 자신의 관점과 가치 체계를 점검, 조정하는 과정의 지속성도 살폈다.

This study proposes the performance of value exploration as a method for the active acceptance of classical literary works, and its focus is to explore the realization and operational structure of value exploration targeting the Saseolsijo (辭說時調) <Ijeneun mot bogedo (I can't see you anymore)>. The goal is to promote active acceptance of literature through value exploration of the problems raised by the text world and ways to respond. This is a search for an alternative to classical literature education, which has been oriented toward specific values ​​for the introduction of tradition within the semantic network of nations and communities.
In Chapter 2, value exploration, instead of the existing empathy, is proposed as a methodology for active acceptance, and the conditions for value exploration in classical poetry are explored. Value exploration refers to the overall activities of readers who evaluate and judge the actions and attitudes of characters and speakers, and prepare alternatives, and can be a mechanism for active acceptance of the text world. Classical poetry is also a world that contains meaningful ways of responding to problematic situations; through value exploration, recipients participate in this world and perform activities to open and adjust their value system.
In Chapter 3, the actual implementation aspect of active acceptance is confirmed for the variant of <Ijeneun mot bogedo>, and it is revealed that the subject’s exploration of value is at work as a mechanism. Considering that the existence of various variants is a sign of the recipient’s active participation in value exploration, this study examines these aspects of the recipient’s value exploration. Based on this, Chapter 4 derives the operational structure of value exploration for active acceptance. First, as a condition of textual experience for value exploration, new reflections and perspectives on life and the world are elicited through “the antagonism of universal problems and special response methods.” This study focuses on the value element of emotions as a motivating condition for value exploration and reveals that universal emotions act as factors that stimulate and mediate value exploration. It focuses on literary imagination as an operating mechanism for value exploration, and explores practical and teleological functions that go beyond the understanding of others and one’s own perspective. Next, the continuity of the process of checking and adjusting one’s perspective and value system is discussed with a focus on the elements involved in value evaluation.
