기독교 교양과목의 인문학적 융복합의 재개념화: 목원대학교 기독교 교양과목을 중심으로 (Reconceptualization of Integrated Curriculum for Christian Liberal Art Education in University)

초록

오늘 한국 대학의 경쟁체제와 대학 정체성의 변화로 인하여 대학 본연의 목적 구현의 위기를 경험하고 있다. 특히 기독교대학은 대학 위기와 함께 설립의도와 정체성 위기를 경험하고 있는 형편이다. 따라서 기독교대학의 운영체제의 어려움 속에서 시대적 흐름과도 역린된다고 주장하는 채플이나 기독교 교양과목의 운영과 관리에도 문제가 많다. 따라서 이 글은 기독교대학에서 설립취지와 목적을 구현하기 위한 기독교 교양과목에 대한 문제를 살피고, 재개념화하고, 나아가 목원대학교 교목실에서 기독교 교양과목을 재개념화하고, 실험적으로 개발하고 설계한 교육과정을 보고하고자 한다.

영어초록

This study is to present as an integrated curriculum of Christian approach to liberal art education developed in Christian universities and colleges.
In universities it changes in general education unlikely to happen in the near future. These problems are ambiguity of educational goals at Christian universities. In order to mission, Christian university should now deeply consider various innovative ideas and integrated curriculum for Christian values of curriculums. Changes in social environments and individual demands on university necessitate integrated approaches to existing liberal arts education.
In Christian universities, liberal art education should not only administrate conventional general education, but try to find various ways for strengthening students’ capacity. The goals of the general education curriculum is a learning for the sake of learning to be humanization with in society. Integrated curriculum of Christian liberal art refers to fusing knowledge and values of universities.
Christian liberal arts of university is to consider the following points.: First, Christian liberal arts is the purpose of human resources with the Christian values. Second, Christian liberal arts must be inherent in the potential spirituality. Third, Christian liberal arts is to be convergence education for Christian contents. Fourth, there is a need for a universal design through a Christian liberal arts. Fifth, Students is to meet Christian knowledge and values through a variety of academic areas through the Christian liberal arts. Sixth, it is designed to lead students to a directed learning.
Chapel of Mokwon University designed and developed a Christian liberal arts curriculum in convergence education for Christian contents.
