초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of superior’s emotional leadership on flight attendants' service innovative behavior, focusing on the mediating effects of Psychological Empowerment. A total of 271 surveys were retained for analysis using SPSS 21.0 for the analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, superior’s emotional leadership had an effect on psychological empowerment(=.216, p<.001). Second, superior’s emotional leadership had a significant effect on flight attendants’ service Innovative behavior(=.383, p<.001).
Third, psychological empowerment had an effect on flight attendants’ service Innovative behavior(=.414, p<.001). Finally, superior’s emotional leadership on flight attendants’ service Innovative behavior was significantly influenced by the mediating effect of psychological empowerment.
The results of this study suggest that managers need to use their emotional leadership to actively utilize caring words and actions to the cabin crew to communicate the goals and values of the organization to its members.
