상호텍스트성을 통한 롬 11장 8-10절 읽기 (The Reading of Rom. 11:8-10 with Intertextuality)

초록

지금까지 바울 서신 연구 연구를 위하여 많은 방법론들이 제시 되어왔다. 특별히 역사적 연구 방법론과 사회과학적 연구가 바울 연구의 지평을 넓혀준 것은 부인 할 수 없다. 하지만 이런 연구들이 지나치게 단선적 이었다는것도 사실이다. 논자는 바울 서신 연구 방법론의 다양성이라는 차원에서 상호텍스트성(Intertextuality)이라는 방법을 이용하여 롬 11:8-10을 분석해 보고자한다. 이 방법론은 결코 기존의 방법을 부인 하지는 않는다. 또한 잘못 되었다고 매도하지도 않는다. 왜냐하면 이 방법론이 결코 절대적인 방법론일 수는없기 때문이다. 성서 해석 역사의 한 과정에서 탄생한 방법론일 뿐이며 인류지성사의 한 산물에 이론적으로 의존 하고 있기 때문이다. 이 방법을 위하여많은 학자들이 기여 하였다. 하지만 논자는 이 글에서 모이제(Steve Moyise)의 세 가지 범주 분석을 선택하여 롬 11:8-10을 분석해 보고자 한다. 무엇보다도 모이제의 이론은 단순 명료하고 적용하기에 용이하기 때문이다.

영어초록

Until now, various methods with regard to the Pauline studies have been suggested by scholars. Of these methods, historical and social scientific methods have been supported by many scholars for the understanding of Pauline theology. Despite having many merits, these methods have met methodological limitations in analyzing the concrete passages of Paul's letters. Thus, this study tries to find a new way. In researching Pauline literature, the researcher uses intertextuality. One of the merits of this method, is its having a multidimentional process. This study tries to analyze Rom. 11:8-10 by using the method of intertextuality. The merits of the intertextuality do not deny established methods including the historical analysis. The researchers of intertextuality do not think that their methodology is the only one method. Intertextuality is a product of an established theory (or established theories). Using this method, many scholars analyzes the texts. Of them, this study chooses Steve Moyise’s one. He suggestes three categories: Intertextual Echo, Dialogical Intertextuality,and Postmodern Intertextuality. Moyise's theology is simple and easily applied to analysis of the Bible. Because of these reasons, this study chooses his view. For exegesis of Rom. 11:8-10, the first step was to select the text. Rom. 11:8-10 was interesting for the researcher. In this portion,Paul referred to several Old Testament texts: Deuteronomy, Isaiah,and Psalms. Unlike other references, Paul inserted two words of Isaiah in a text from Deuteronomy. Another interesting point is that Paul used two methods in his writings. One was correcting,adding, and changing the order of LXX. However, in this section,Paul did not change his reference. This article argues that Paul's methods were allusional quotation according to Moyise's first category of Intertextual Echo. The second step in this analysis was comparing Romans to LXX. This comparison is a basic skill for Intertextual exegesis. The comparison showed the differences between Romans and LXX. Based on the discovered differences,the researcher added meaning to the result. Also, in the third step of Postmodern Intertextuality, the article sought the relationship between the reader's situation of Romans and Paul.
