초록

예술작품은 단순히 주관적이거나 환원적인 것이 아니며 동시에 주체와 분리되어 존재하는 것도 아닌, 주체와 객체가 하나의 장에서 만나는 객관적인 텍스트이며 상호주관성의 실체이다. 이러한 시각은 주체로서의 예술가와 객체로서의 작품간의 필연적인 관계를 상정하도록 한다. 주체의 스타일은 주체 또는 작가의 생생한 체험의 역동적 원시성과 원초성이며 궁극적으로 예술 창조의 과정을 의미한다.
클라인의 정신분석적 미학에서 중요한 메타심리학적 개념인 우울적 위치는 상징과 승화가 이루어지는 발달적 장이다. 우울적 위치를 통과함으로써 상실된 대상-원초적 어머니는 사물의 위치로 승격되고 이로써 대상과 주체와의 상징적 거리두기가 가능해진다. 이러한 상징 작업은 죽음충동과 이를 승화하고자 하는 무한한 욕망의 정제를 통해 예술작품으로 구현된다. 트라우마로 점철된 시간들은 예술(언어화, 상징화)로 매개될 때에만 ‘길들여져’(라깡) 주체성의 일부로 자리 잡을 수 있다.
예술가에게 작품은 그 자신의 물자체, 실재가 상징으로 승화된 것이다. 현실의 상징적 차원에서는 물자체와의 직접적인 만남이 불가능하며, 예술가의 창조적 행위와 예술적 산물은 그러한 불가능의 우회적인 표현이다. 클라인적의 의미의 예술은 외상을 극복하고 근원적 환상으로 돌아가며, 그것에 빈곳을 만듦으로써 존재 근원의 새로운 정체성을 만들어가는 여정이다. 상실한 대상, 원초적 어머니는 주체의 욕망과 불안의 담지자로서 그와의 이루어질 수 없는 만남과 거리두기는 주체의 환상 안에서, 그리고 이 과정을 통한 예술적 창조과정에서 이루어진다. 불안의 실체인 어머니의 육체, 실재는 상징화되고 이제 어머니의 몸은 숭고한 ‘사물’의 위치로 고양된다. 클라인의 관점에서 사물로의 고양, 창조적 예술활동을 통한 승화는 결국 정신분석이 추구하는 ‘윤리’를 구현한다.

영어초록

This paper is intended to reveal M. Klein's aesthetics perspective in her psychoanalysis. A Depressive position is one of the most important and analytic concepts of Klein's metapsychology. A Depressive position represents an important developmental advance, in which whole objects begin to be recognized and ambivalent impulses become directed towards the primary object. The infant comes to recognize that breast which frustrates him is the same as the one which gratifies him, and the result of such integration over time is an ambivalent conflict between love and hate. An ambivalence is seen to be crucial to the depressive predicament. The infant loses the precious sense that there exists an ideal object of unlimited pleasure and satisfaction. This triggers an experience of a loss of the loved object, and reparative impulses for the lost loving object-primary mother.
A true symbolism is an important, critical focal point and must be attained in normal development, and this task is achieved through depressive position. A symbolism is fundamental to creative, artistic thought. A symbol formation is the essence of artistic creativity. Klein makes a direct link between this need for reparation and the origin of the creative impulse. At the through of depressive position, various emotions and phenomena are achieved, man becomes a true subject who recognizes reality, mourns, restores and creates the lost object-primary mother. In this perspective, Klein assumes that an artist in his work is again working through his infantile depressive position, then he too has not only to recreate something in his inner world corresponding to the recreation of his internal objects and world, he also has to externalize it to give it life in the external world.
Klein's mortuary aesthetics show us the spurt of death drives, sadism, and reparative impulses which the damaged, broken mother is to be repared. One example, a melancholic depressive woman's analysis shows Klein's aesthetic psychoanalysis. A Sadistic and tyrant primary mother is restored in her mind as a new, gentle figure. She display her artistic competence and creativity in this reparative process mourn the lost object.
A Style or symptom is an artist himself, creative artistic work is result from working over his traumatic life. Lacan places Klein's primary mother(mother's body) to das Ding. After all, Klein locates the phases of all sublimation to das Ding. Das Ding is characterized by the fact that it is impossible for us to imagine it, so sublimation is located on that process. The object is by nature a refound object, as it were, an object must be abandoned. In the same context, mother's body is the object of impossible jouissance and an object is transformed into Thing(das Ding). The sublimation creates certain forms of art, which is so close to the domain of psychoanalytic ethics.
