<임진록>에 반영된 당대의 담론-국립중앙도서관 소장 한문본과 한글본을 중심으로- (Contemporary discourse reflected in －Focusing on the Chinese and the Korean version in the National Library of Korea)

초록

<임진록>은 임진왜란이라는 역사적 사건을 주요 내용으로 삼고 있기 때문에 역사적 사실 기록의 이본이 존재하는가 하면 역사적 사실에서 벗어나 허구적 서사로 진행되는 이본이 존재하기도 한다. 그 대표적 이본이 국도 한문본과 국도 한글본이다. 두 이본이 형성된 당대의 담론이 어떻게 반영되었는가를 살펴본 결과, 역사계열로 구분되는 국도 한문본은 전후에 형성된 재조지은과 숭명의식이 반영되었고, 최일영계열 가운데 국도 한글본은 중화 계승의식과 조선 중화주의가 반영된 것으로 보았다.
각기 다른 담론의 반영은 이본의 형성 시기와 밀접한 관계가 있다. 임진왜란이 끝난 후 조선의 지배 담론은 재조지은에 입각한 대명의리였다. 당연히 대명의리에 입각한 숭명의식이 반영된 이본인 국도 한문본의 형성 시기는 대체적으로 전후에서 멀지 않은 시점으로 볼 수 있는 것이다. 북벌론이 현실적 한계를 다해 북학론으로 대체되는 과정에서 숭명의식은 반감되었고, 대신 조선이 중화 문명을 계승한다는 조선중화주의가 자리하면서 임진왜란을 다른 시각에서 회고하게 되었는데, 이를 반영한 것이 국도 한글본이다.

영어초록

Since <Imjinrok> is based on the historical event of the Japanese Invasion of Korea as its main content, there are copies of historical facts, and there are copies that deviate from historical facts and proceed as fictional narratives. The representative copies are the Chinese version of the National Library of Korea and the Korean version of the National Library of Korea.
As a result of examining how the discourses of the period in which the two versions were formed were reflected, the Chinese version of the National Library of Korea, which is divided into the historical series, reflects the Grace that rebuilt the country[再造之恩] and the worship of the ming dynasty[崇明意識] formed after the war, and among the Choiilyeong series, the Korean version of the National Library of Korea is Confucian-Cultural Succession and the sinocentrism in Joseon Korea were reflected.
The reflection of different discourses is closely related to the formation period of versions. After the end of the the Japanese Invasion of Korea, the discourse of Joseon's domination was Loyalty to the Ming Dynasty[對明義理] based on the Grace that rebuilt the country. Naturally, the period of formation of the Chinese version of the National Library of Korea, which reflects the consciousness of the worship of the ming dynasty based on the principle of Loyalty to the Ming Dynasty, can be viewed as a time not far from the postwar period. In the process of replacing the theory of Plan for Northern Subjugation[北伐論] with the Northern Learning[北學論], the worship of the ming dynasty was halved. Instead, the sinocentrism in Joseon Korea that Joseon inherited the Chinese civilization took place, and the Japanese Invasion of Korea was reflected from a different point of view. This reflected the Korean version of the National Library of Korea.
