자기의식화로 보는 치유 체험 과정 (The Process of Healing Experience through Self-Consciousness)

초록

통합문학 치료학에서 치유 및 치료체험을 하였는가 또는 하지 못하였는가에 대한 주요 기준은 참여자 스스로 이 모든 과정을 제대로 알게 되었는가 verstehen하는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서 필자들은 이러한 과정을 정신현상학에서 말하는 인간 의식의 전개과정과 동일한 것으로 보고, 문학치료에서 참여자 의식의 전개과정인 자기의식화를 통한 치유과정이 어떻게 일어나는가를 살펴보고자 한다. 무엇보다도 이러한 자기의식화는 참여자가 치유 및 치료체험을 판단하는데 있어 주요 변인이 될 수 있다. 또한 문학치료는 참여자 스스로가 자기의식화의 과정을 거쳐 치유경험을 할 수 있도록 인간의 주체적인 실체화를 돕는 기능을 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 영화, <책읽어주는 남자>에서 여성 인물, 한나를 통해 그녀의 삶 전반에서 어떻게 자기의식화가 일어나며, 또한 그러한 과정을 통해 치유적 체험이 어떻게 구현되어가는 지를 살펴보고자 한다. 왜냐하면 영화 속 인물, 한나는 자신이 문맹상태에서는 일체의 양심이나 책임, 그리고 죄의식을 느낄 수 없었고, 문자를 읽고 쓰게 됨으로써 비로소 ‘인간의 존엄’인 참양심 Deep Consience을 얻게 되기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 감각, 상호관계 그리고 자기회귀 및 참자아 발견의 관점으로 본 한나의 이러한 과정이 한편으로는 치유체험이 되고, 다른 한편으로는 자기의식화의 한 측면으로 보고자 하였다.

Self-Consciousness as a Healing Experience Process.
The primary base in the integrative poetry & bibliotherapy on whether or not having experienced healing and remedy is to understand(verstehen) whether a participant oneself came to properly know all these processes. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to examine how the healing process happens through a self-consciousness pattern, which is the development process of a participant's consciousness in literary therapy, while writers regard this process as same as the development process in human consciousness of being mentioned in the phenomenology of spirit. A human being comes to be developed consciousness through diverse self experiences of being faced in the middle of life. Especially, the consciousness, which was developed through reflection and introspection, is considered to lead to the true self-consciousness pattern, and to the possibility of increasing quality of life through proceeding with realizing self. This self-consciousness pattern, above all, may be a major variable in which a participant judges the experience of healing and remedy. Also, the literary therapy functions as helping a human being's subjective substantialization so that a participant oneself can experience healing after passing through the process of the self-consciousness pattern. Hence, this study aims to figure out how the self-consciousness pattern takes place in her whole life through Hanna who is a female character in a movie titled <The Reader>, and also how the healing experience is embodied through such process. That is because Hanna, who is a character in a movie, could not feel all the conscience or responsibility, and guilt in her illiterate state, and came to read and write letters, thereby coming to finally get Deep Conscience, which is 'human dignity.' Consequently, this study aimed to see Hanna's this process from the perspectives of sense, interrelation, auto-regression, and deep-conscience detection as the healing experience on the one hand and as an aspect of the self-consciousness pattern on the other hand. In this way, the process of the self-consciousness pattern may occur through various routes. However, what there is not this process is considered to lead to being incapable not only of being experienced either healing or remedy, but also of being happened a growth as an individual.
