경산 사직단 유적 정비방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Restoration for Gyeongsan Sagicdan's Remains Ahn, Gye-Bog)

초록

It is important to restore and maintain the remains of Gyeongsan Sagicdan(the altar for the gods of the soil and grain), because presently only a small minority of Sagicdans-which could be found in every district in Chosun Dynasty- are remained after the Japanese occupation. The purpose of this research is to suggest a righteous restoration plan of Gyeongsan Sagicdan's remains, which are excavated by road construction recently. The conclusions for this from analysis of old documents and maps is as follows.
1. From Gukjooryeui(國朝五禮儀 1474) and Sajikseouigwe(社稷署儀軌 1783), the block of Sagicdan is divided in 2 area. The first area is the central one where the Sagicdan is, and the second area is attached one where the annex is.
2. Covering Sagicdan in BangSack(方色: The east in blue, the south in red, the west in white, the north in black, the centre in yellow) has significant meaning in modern traditional landscape design, applying 5 colors of Eumyangohang(陰陽五行) in environment design.
3. The Sagicdan's width has to be 5m, height has to be 50cm and Dangak(the lower part of the stage) has to be in 2 levels; the first one has to be 8m in north-south, 7.8m in east-west and the second one has to be 7.4m in north-south, and 7.8m in east-west as the first one. The stairs has to be about 80cm in width, and to be restored with 3 big stones on the north-central part of the stage. Yu(壝 ; fence) has to be about 90cm in height with Cheonseok(川石: riverside stone) and Halseok(割石: break stone) which are 20～70cm, and not to be tile-capped.
4. The pine trees have to be planted -based on the historical materials- around the Sagic-Dan in order to restore the landscape.
5. It is apprehended that the group of ancient tombs of the Three States that is excavated with Sagicdan will be damaged after the restoration of Sagicdan, as the users increase. Thus before the group of ancient tombs get enough budgets and be restored perfectly, it is necessary to have some countermeasures to protect it. Consequently, I suggest to cover with soil, namely, build a mound over it protecting from possible damages at lower cost and also at the same time, to make visitors acknowledged this the group of tombs were from the Three States.
