초록

본고는 김안로(金安老, 1481~1537)의 『희락당고(希樂堂稿)』에 실린 한시를 분석하여, 그의 삶과 문학을 재구하여 재평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
김안로에게 있어 해배 후의 삶은 사림파로서의 자의식을 견지했던 유배기 이전과는 구별된다. 유배 기간은 김안로에게 원망과 후회와 자책의 기간이면서 글쓰기는 그에게 그 시기를 견딜 수 있게 하는 수단이었다.
김안로의 청년시절의 작품에서는 경세적 유학자로서의 면모가 강하게 드러난다. 그러나 유배기간을 통해 그의 감수성과 문장력을 엿볼 수 있는 한시를 많이 창작했고, 방면 이후에는 안전한 처세를 지향하는 한시가 지배적이다. 이렇듯 유배기 이전에는 도의적인 산문을, 유배기와 해배 이후에는 상징과 풍자적인 한시 작품을 창작한 것이 특징적이다.
희락당고의 자주(自註)는 유일무이한 것으로, 김안로는 자주를 통해 시의 의미를 보강하고 오해될 수 있는 단순한 사실을 밝히며 자신의 시적 역량을 자평을 통해 과시하기도 한다.
본 연구는 간신으로 평가되는 김안로를 무조건적으로 긍정하기 위한 글이 아니다. 그동안 평가절하 되었던 그의 문예성을 드러내고, 그 안에 함축된 의미를 찾아내어 시인 김안로의 실체에 좀 더 가까이 다가가기 위한 작업이었다.

영어초록

This study aims to analyze the works focusing on the Chinese poems published in an anthology of Kim An-ro titled in Heerakdanggo (希樂堂稿), thereby reorganizing and evaluating his life and literary works.
For Kim An-ro, the life after releasing from the exile is distinct from the days before his exile, when he stuck to his self-conscious as a member of Sarim faction. During his exile, it was a period of resentment, depression, repentance, and self-blame for Kim An-ro, meanwhile, the writing was a means that relieves him from boring and lonesome.
Most of his writings in youth, by revealing the aspect as a Confucian scholar who enlightens people. However, during his exile, he created many Chinese poems that can gauge his sensitivity and writing ability, and after being released from exile, most of his works involve the Chinese poems that contemplatively recited his realization on the art of living. As such, it is very specific that he created only moral prose before the exile and the symbolic and satirical Chinese poems after the exile.
Heerakdanggo, in particular, is characterized by a footnote, which is a unique style and was hardly seen at that time. It is interpreted that he cited the difficult precedents and samples of old times as well as the rough and tough characters to hide his true feelings, but made the detailed footnotes in fear that others might misread his writings.
This study doesn’t intend to unconditionally affirm or excuse Kim An-ro, who is regarded as a treacherous retainer but attempts to highlight his literary artistic ability that was depreciated thus far, and to find out the symbolic meanings hidden in his poetry by giving accurate meanings. Through this process, it is anticipated that this study would be a work that can get closer to the reality of Kim An-ro.
