갯지렁이 protease 처리에 의한 정상모의 개선 효과 (An Normal Hair Improve ment Effect by Lugworm Protease Processes)

초록

This study examines the effect of treating the solution of lugworm protease coenzyme on normal hair. Also, it studies the effect of treating protease coenzyme solution containing lower molecular weight proteins of lugworm autolyzed by lugworm protease as well as peptides on hair after getting a perm and its effect of improvement to figure out the possibility of it as a new material to make natural hair cosmetics. As a measurement to prove the hair improvement effect, the measurement of hair thickness, observation with the optical microscope, measurement of protein degradation using methylene blue dyeing, SEM, and hair tensile rength test were employed. According to the result of this research, hair thickness gets thinner as time goes by in the experimental group. In the observation with the optical microscope, the experimental group showed elimination of hair cuticle and soil dropped out from 30 minutes after. Also, hair surface observation by SEM discovered that the hair scale was refined along with the elimination of soil after 24 hours in the experimental group. In the tensile strength test, the partial degradation of hair reduced tensile strength, too. According to the result of the wave formation and retentivity test, normal, thick, and thin hair all showed superior wave formation in cleaned hair after treating the solution of lugworm protease coenzyme than not treating it. And after treating the solution of lugworm protease coenzyme, uncleaned hair showed the greatest wave formation. Wave retentivity was also proportional to wave formation according to the result of observation after 20 times of shampooing. It is considered that above results imply the solution of lugworm protease coenzyme can be possibly used as a new material to make natural hair cosmetics.
