초록

The tour to Gangwon Province's farm villages is attracting more attention compared with other regions. It is found that 61 of the rural tourism area are located in Gangwon Province, which reaches 31% I the whole country in 2007. thereby contributing to the increase in the number of tourists visiting Gangwon Province. The findings of this analysis on the rural tourists' preferences and satisfaction are required to make Gangwon Province's farm villages more competitive and differentiated and be utilized for the basic materials for the development and the management of the programs for the rural tourism to seek for the value of rural tourists and meet the requirements from rural tourists.Consequently, the variety of experiences that rural experiences that rural tourism area in Gangwon province provide and the kindness of the local residents are expected to raise the satisfaction of tourists to the farm villages and encourage them to revisit the villages and recommend them to others. These factors are the foundation for the constant growth and development of rural tourist area in Gangwon Province. Accordingly, it is vital to develop experience programs that will allow people to see ad experience farm villages, and to establish additional facilities thereat. Moreover, the attitude and participation of the local residents is an important factor in the success of farm tourism and in securing its competitiveness.
