청소년의 미래지향목표와 자아정체감, 공동체의식 및 진로정체감의 종단적 구조관계 (The Longitudinal Relationship among Future Oriented Goals, Changes of Self-identity, Sense of Community, and Career-Identity of Adolescents)

초록

본 연구는 청소년의 미래지향목표와 자아정체감, 공동체의식 및 진로정체감의 종단적 구조관계는 어떠한가를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 한국청소년정책연구소(NYPI)에서 실시한 한국청소년 패널조사의 중1패널 2351명으로 미래지향목표는 3차년도 자료를, 공동체의식은 3∼6차년도 자료를, 자아정체감과 진로정체감은 3, 5∼6차년도의 자료를 활용하였다. 측정도구는 미래지향목표, 자아정체감, 공동체의식 및 진로정체감이다. 연구결과 자아정체감, 공동체의식 및 진로정체감의 초기값과 변화율은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 다변량 잠재성장모형에서 외재적 미래지향목표는 자아정체감과 공동체의식의 초기값에는 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 진로정체감의 초기값에는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 내재적 미래지향목표는 자아정체감과 공동체의식의 초기값에는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 진로정체감의 초기값에는 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자아정체감과 공동체의식의 초기값과 변화율은 진로정체감의 초기값과 변화율에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 외재적 미래지향목표는 자아정체감과 공동체의식 초기값을 매개로 하여 진로정체감 초기값에 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었으나 내재적 미래지향목표는 자아정체감과 공동체의식의 초기값을 매개로 하여 진로정체감의 초기값에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 성별에 따른 차이를 살펴본 결과 내재적, 외재적 미래지향목표가 자아정체감의 초기값에 미치는 영향, 자아정체감, 공동체의식 및 진로정체감의 변화율에 미치는 영향에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 하여 선행연구와의 관련성과 연구의 제한점 등을 제시하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of the study was to analyze the longitudinal relationship among future oriented goals, changes of self-identity, sense of community and the career-identity of adolescents. The subjects were 2351 of the panel conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute. The instruments used in the study were future oriented goals, self-identity, sense of community, and career-identity tests. The initial value and slope of self-identity, sense of community and career-identity were all statistically significant. In the multivariate latent growth modeling, the extrinsic future oriented goal had negative impact on the initial values of self-identity and sense of community, however, positive effect on the initial value of career-identity. Intrinsic future oriented goal was found to have a positive effect on the initial values of self-identity and sense of community, but, negative effect on the initial value of career-identity. The initial value and slope of self-identity and sense of community had statistically significant effects on the initial value and slope of career-identity. In the analysis of mediation effects, extrinsic future oriented goals negatively influenced on the initial value of career-identity, however, intrinsic future oriented goals positively effected on the initial value of career-identity through initial value of community consciousness. As a result of examining the differences according to gender, it was found that intrinsic and extrinsic future goal oriented goals had different effects on the initial value and slope of self-identity, slope of sense of community, and slope of career-identity. Based on the results of the study, implications derived from the results, limitations of this study, and suggestions for the following studies were presented.
