Abstract
Background; Retained rectosigmoidal foreign body is not an uncommon presentation to the emergency department, and there are various substances and causes. Also, different removal methods are determined depending on the various substances. Because of potentiality for serious complications, immediate and accurate responds are required.
Case report; A 53-year-old man visited the emergency room with a foreign body measuring 6X3cm in his sigmoid colon. The foreign body was a plastic spray cap of bullet-shape. He complained neither of pain or palpable mass on his abdomen nor rectal bleeding.

Introduction
Foreign bodies in the rectosigmoid colon are not uncommonly presented in the emergency room and are often a serious challenge to clinicians. Sometimes foreign bodies are swallowed and are held up in rectosigmoid colon after being passed through the gastrointestinal tract, but in most cases, they are introduced through the anus. (1) The objects range from enema and thermometer to cap of hair spray and sexual toy.
