초록

"본 연구는 초등학교 아동의 사교육 경험과 부모성취압력이 자녀학습태도에 미치는 영향을 알아
보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 제주특별자치도 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 아동과 그의 학부모를
대상으로 하여 총 729부의 설문지를 배포하여 불성실한 응답자를 제외한 558부를 최종 분석 자료로 하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 빈도와 백분율, 상관관계분석, χ2 검증, 일원배치분산분석, 단일 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 아동의 사교육 경험 여부는 사교육 경험이 있다 에서 5학년, 6학년, 4학년 순으로 나타났고, 현재 받고 있다 에서 4학년, 6학년 , 5학년 순으로 나타났다. 학년에 따른 사교육 교과목 종류는 주요과목은 6학년, 5학년, 4학년 순으로 나타났고, 외국어는 5학년, 4학년, 6학년 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 자녀학습태도는 4학년, 6학년, 5학년 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사교육 경험 여부에 따라 자녀학습태도는 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 넷째, 부모성취압력이 자녀학습태도에 미치는 영향은 자녀학습태도의 하위영역인 학교공부 태도와 교우관계 태도, 교사관계 태도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과에서는 사교육 경험이 없는 아동이 학습태도가 긍정적으로 높다는 것이 발견되어, 과열된 사교육 경험이 무조건 좋은 것은 아니라는 것을 알 수 있었고 부모성취압력이 자녀학습 태도에 부정적인 영향을 미치지만, 거의 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것을 발견하여, 부모성취압력이 긍정적인 양육태도로 발전 가능성이 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다."

"The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of private education experiences of elementary school students and parents' achievement pressure affect the learning attitude of children. The subjects of this study were 4th, 5th 6th form students and their parents of elementary schools located in Jeju Special Self-Governing Island of Korea. Total 729 questionnaires were distributed to them and then total 558 copies except for unfaithful and false respondents were used as final analytical data. For data analysis, a frequency, percentage, correlation analysis, χ2 Test, One-Way ANOVA and single regression analysis were used. and the results are as followings. First, the most experienced students for previous experiences of extracurricular education were in the order of 5th, 6th and 4th form students, and the students who are the most frequently educated in an extracurricular education at present were in the order of 4th, 6th and 5th form students. For kinds of subject for each form, the extracurricular education for key subjects was high in the order of 6th, 5th and 4th form, and the one for a foreign language was in the order of 5th, 4th and 6th form. Second, the students showing the best learning attitude for such extracurricular education were in the order of 4th, 6th and 5th form. Third, the learning attitude showed significant difference in accordance with experience or non-experience of an extracurricular education. Fourth, the effect that parents' achievement pressure affects the learning attitude of children has significantly influenced in the attitudes of schooling, peer relation and teacher-student relation which are sub-territory of children learning attitude in the statistics. Meanwhile, the result of this study also discovered that unexperienced children for an extracurricular education showed a positive and good learning attitude. So, the experiences for overheated extracurricular educations is unconditionally not good. Additionally this study discovered that parents' achievement pressure influences negative affect in learning attitudes of children but it rarely affect such attitude. Accordingly, this study shows that parents' achievement pressure has the potential to develop as a positive rearing attitude.
